Exotic woodsy vanilla?
The latest flanker of the line comes in Parfum concentration and it hits hard on your senses. It’s to my nose a pleasant, mass appealing, woodsy vanilla with some fruity and tart nuances in the opening and a coconut/sugarcane/rhum heart. The coconutty undertones makes me think of something white floral but not quite. Overall the most predominant notes are the vanilla and the woods.

Gourmand or not?
This perfume is the example of how to deliver on the gourmand trend without losing the perfumery artistry that distinguishes a fragrance composition. It’s fresh in the opening with candied orange peel and spicy cardamom. Then it emerges an almost creamy Tonka with buttery vanillic facets. to me, it reminds me of the almond croissants: not very sweet, bready, buttery. Effortlessly chic
The latest iteration of la belle is a departure from the former ones and it is also one of the most original perfume releases of recent times. Hopefully won’t really be a limited edition. This is a sophisticated and easy to wear perfume that gives a carefree allure.
It starts with the impression of being surrounded by apricot trees in the orchard, there are the smells of nature around you and sweet flowers are blooming. It’s morning and it’s a bit humid, some slight marine breeze through your hair brings to your nose your vanilla flavored hair oil. For more details pls watch my YT video linked here below.

A raspberry rose
The latest flanker of the series is fairly different from the usual but not very original overall. It’s a pleasant acidic vanillin powdery raspberry with powdery rose/peony. Moderate performance overall. The rest is supporting the main notes. Many other perfumes come to mind, from designer to niche. I went into some more details in the video linked below, if you are interested.

Vanilla & Tonka
The 2025 flanker from la nuit trèsor is an ambery take on the original dna. It’s pretty woody but also feminine and soft with its woody vanilla and signature dark rose.
Its soft vanilla and undeclared Tonka made me think of the softest/most well rounded interpretations of these notes that I am aware of.It’s just a mental connection but very comforting to smell such smooth vanilla tonka feeling. Tested for three days will try again after a detox time to see if I can detect an oud or leather accord. Right now it’s woody with tonka.
