A raspberry rose

The latest flanker of the series is fairly different from the usual but not very original overall. It’s a pleasant acidic vanillin powdery raspberry with powdery rose/peony. Moderate performance overall. The rest is supporting the main notes. Many other perfumes come to mind, from designer to niche. White Floral Overdose

I tested this in Ulta and I'm pretty conflicted about it. When I catch whiffs of this in the air it smells almost identical to the original, which I'm a HUGE fan of, but when I smell my wrist I smell pretty much only white florals, which I'm very picky about. It's not too heady but there's too much of that weird creaminess that white florals have that I'm not crazy about. I also couldn't smell the raspberry, which is a note that I really like. I don't hate it because when I smell the sillage (and I'm not directly sniffing my wrist) I get the OG, which is why I've given it such a high score, but I don't love how forward the jasmine is and I am disappointed about not being able to smell raspberry.

The Best Flowerbomb IMO

This perfume is intoxicatingly delicious to me. Perfect for the office, and the performance is stellar. I love that it lasts all day. I spray in the morning and when I get home from a long day, I can still smell it on me. The burst of creamy jammy raspberry upon first spray is so beautiful, and the sweet, fluffy vanilla dry down on my skin is delicious. I was never a fan of the OG, but this is one knocked it out of the park. I used up my travel size quick. This one is definitely full bottle worthy.

Flowerbomb's screechy little sister

First hour of wear is ruled by playful (although somewhat synthetic) raspberry adorned by vague green freshness and zesty but otherwise flavorless bergamot. There's florality below, but the details of it are hard to discern. Aggressive sillage – thick cloud, fills the whole room and then some. Very sweet. Unremarkable, but gets a little better as time goes on.

After the first hour top notes mostly fizzle out and whatever remains settles in the wearer's immediate vicinity. An indistinct mix of florals, vanilla, bergamot zest and a twinge of bitter earthy spice. For another ~2 hours as it gets more and more bitter I don't necessarily love it, but I do enjoy it for what it is. But as time goes on, vanilla starts to... ferment? For a lack of a better word.

The last ~30ish minutes before we reach drydown there's a hint of sauerkraut tying the composition together. It's funny to smell once, but not something I would want to have in a perfume for daily wear. Then it fades. The remaining ~2 hours are just a mellow aftertaste of patchouli and vanilla.

Meh. To each their own, but in my opinion the original was much better. This one is decent, but I would've missed nothing if I never experienced it.

Great fruit on flowers with a sweet-gentle base

The Flowerbomb line has really escalated. If you look for the Flowerbomb line, you will find 58 releases here. It's a bit overwhelming, especially since some of them are just collector's bottles. The masculine line Spicebomb is definitely clearer. However, I really like the line around the original "Flowerbomb (Eau de Parfum) | Viktor & Rolf," as it has a great core DNA and is always a fantastic choice with sex appeal. This Extreme came out quite late, especially when you consider the hype of its male counterpart. Freshly released this year, there is now also the Flowerbomb Extreme, which I quite like and want to share through this review. Tested via sample. The L'Oreal samples are a bit stingy and not the prettiest tubes. That said, they are sufficient to get a good impression. The Flowerbomb DNA is present, but it gets a slightly new twist and is definitely something for modern girls & women. The biggest difference is, of course, this fruity berry in the top note. The floral DNA is quite similar. For me, it's already a great flanker, which, however, is not more extreme in the DNA and also not in performance.

The concept is, of course, iconic with this hand grenade in the Spice and Flowerbomb lines. It has something and can certainly be marketed well. I like these bottles. Price-wise, this women's line is quite a bit more expensive than the men's line. A bit overpriced, but it's normal for newer releases. In terms of quality, I find this line not bad at all, and this Extreme also comes across as quite elegant. However, I find the niche prices a bit excessive.
You can definitely tell that it is a Flowerbomb. The raspberry at the start makes this Flowerbomb a Fruity-Floral, at least for the first few hours. The raspberry gives this fragrance a very delicious touch and convinces with a floral sweetness as well. Tea & bergamot are also present like in the original, which adds a fresh touch. The main character is, of course, this wonderful feminine freesia, accompanied by jasmine, rose, and orange blossom. Very feminine and surely appealing to the opposite sex. The floral heart note is harmonious and creates a pleasant feeling. After about 2 hours, the raspberry is gone, and it becomes a lovely soft floral overall structure with a lot of sweetness from the base due to the vanilla. The sweetness is active throughout the entire progression and does not come across as intrusive or cheap, but rather a bit flirty and sensual. The base becomes a bit softer and more balsamic with Peru balsam, vanilla, and a pleasant patchouli note. Overall, very rounded, but also mainstream. Those expecting something very special might be disappointed. Overall, however, it is quite solid and convincing, and of course, also easy to like or wear.
Performance is quite alright, but not entirely "Extreme." Longevity is between 8-10 hours. Sillage is quite good with the top note, becoming softer and pleasant afterward. Thus, it is also good for everyday wear. Overall satisfactory, but there is definitely better in the mainstream with more beast mode. However, it doesn't always have to be that way.

Overall, a great release with a pleasant raspberry top note and floral bouquet. Worth it if you like floral mainstream fragrances, especially this Flowerbomb line.

I prefer this over the OG. Very similar scent profile. However, the raspberry brings a brightness to it and tempers the patchouli. Not ‘Extreme’.

Favorite flanker so far. Not as heavy as the original, but the dna is still there. The raspberry is kinda fake smelling, but I’m not mad at it.

What a fine, fluffy-sweet raspberry! The fruity note is beautifully highlighted from the start by the wonderfully sugary Flowerbomb patchouli.
