Citrus with a difference
I unexpectedly received a sample when I bought a fragrance and was delighted because I am currently looking for a summer fragrance.
For me, the cologne is 1:1 in the opening like salty pickled lime or lemon. If you've been to Asia, you might already know that there's a salted lemon soft drink - I was immediately transported back to Asia.
There's also a hint of grapefruit for me.
Longevity is ok for me - relatively quick on the skin but I can feel it all day long.
Not a classic citrus scent - but for me and my memories of my time in Asia - very nice. Unfortunately not worth the price in my opinion.

Frankincense Superstar
If you like frankincense/ olibanum/ frankincense - try this immediately.
Price/performance gigantic, mega raw material quality and this super fresh yet deep incense experience makes this an absolute favorite.
Attar is not everyone's cup of tea - and for me also completely new - but this magical scent lasts forever - maybe not the greatest sillage - but then it stays for me. :-)
For me, it suits every season - but be careful - it's addictive.

I also stopped
PerfumeAl is standing still.
Simply great. First came to Floraiku because of the great bottle designs - then the opportunity to try some fragrances.
The Mountain Standing Still is quite simply a masterpiece for me.
Tea, oud for sure - but also other fleeting nuances that constantly change over the course of the fragrance. Unique.
It brings a sense of calm. Takes you on a long-distance journey - and yes, it also attracts compliments. Bravo.

Elegant but fleeting
3rd place of the MDCI perfumes for me after the 2 Fougeres.
Very nice light incense mixed with herbs and spices - but everything kept very light and wearable.
I can imagine it for almost any occasion and season.
The problem for me is H/S. I can hardly smell it after one hour and after 4.
Too bad - I really like it - but price-performance not ok.

YSL Y 4.0
As a casual fan of the Y Line, I was excited to try a darker version - I love oud and incense and was curious to see how it would integrate with the Y DNA.
Now that I've been able to test it on skin, it's really quite different from the descriptions I've read so far.
For me, the opening is clearly citrusy. Grapefruit, bergamot? I can't say exactly - but not necessarily fresh - rather dark/ripe/rounded - but clearly noticeable with good sillage for 1-2 hours.
Then it becomes a little soapy, a little woody and still rounded. Only after 4/5 hours is it for me the familiar but also more rounded Y DNA.
Nothing earth-shattering - but pleasant. If you don't have anything from the range yet - No. 1 for me vs. EDP and Le Parfum. Simply has more to offer.
But perhaps not absolutely necessary if you already have EDP or Le Parfum.
