Sweet sweet symphony
The Gisada Ambassador was one of the fragrances in recent times that really made me dive into the world of perfume..
I was looking for a scent that I had perceived time and again (it later turned out that this was the Kirkè Extrait de Parfum)
One evening, a friend was wearing a similarly sweet fragrance (at that time I didn't know Kirké yet) and I thought: wow, this definitely goes in that direction!
Gisada Ambassador, my friend said.. I quickly realized that this was not the scent I was actually looking for, but I still fell in love.. not with my friend, but with the Gisada..
And I was really surprised at how poorly this one scores on Parfumo.. too synthetic, sweet designer sludge, Douglas scent, etc..
I absolutely cannot understand that.. I find this fragrance just incredibly good.. the opening? amazing.. extremely sweet, yet fruity fresh..
I don't want to make a direct comparison to Kirké or "Erba Pura | XerJoff" because they are far too different for that.. but in terms of sweetness and fruitiness in the opening, you can definitely see a similar direction (but only similar)
and yes okay, maybe the Gisada is indeed a bit more synthetic than the two mentioned above.. but still pleasant.. at least for me.. there are certainly people for whom this fragrance could also cause headaches, so be a bit more cautious with the dosage.. in terms of sillage and longevity, this thing is really impressive.. in my opinion, above average good!
I have definitely found a favorite for the cold season in the Ambassador..
Give it a chance!

Mandarins in Summer
Turathi Blue... how did it all start with us?
I saw this fragrance (probably like many others) in countless YouTube videos.. it was featured in almost every list of summer fragrances.. since I don't always fully trust all this chatter and didn't want another blind buy sitting in my cabinet that I wouldn't use (though at that price it wouldn't be too tragic) I got myself a small sample and upon the first spray, it was clear to me: a blind buy would have turned out 100% positive.. I didn't even finish the sample before I had already ordered it.. under 25€ for 90 ml of this delicious concoction? I thought it couldn't be serious.. but well.. let's just be happy that there are such great fragrances available at low prices :)
About the scent itself: The citrus in the opening is not a typical lemon, I find you can immediately smell the mandarin.. but not overpowering, rather beautifully rounded by amber and musk.. simply wonderful.. in the further development not much changes, but does it have to? it just smells consistently great
I've heard comparisons to "Fanta Mandarine," and hmm.. yes, I can somewhat understand that, but again.. is that bad? no, Fanta Mandarine is also great.
Personally, I would even dare to compare it to Afternoon Swim as both emphasize the mandarin very strongly.. maybe the LV has a bit more depth, but in terms of price/performance, Turathi is obviously miles ahead..
Sillage and longevity are average to good with Turathi.. with citrus summer fragrances, you generally don't expect too much.. but it performs quite well, and at that price for 90 ml, you can gladly reapply after a few hours.
Finally, a few words about the presentation.. the bottle is very heavy and high-quality! The cap is not magnetic but fits the overall picture.. and yes, the packaging is simply amazing for the price you pay..
All in all, MY summer hit this year.. may the hot days come!

Citrus Cleaner
Wooo, where do I even start.. so, the hype around this Zara fragrance has certainly not gone unnoticed by anyone in the past months.. everyone was talking about THE Imagination clone/dupe.
During my next stroll in the city, I popped into Zara to see if I could test it there.. no luck.. also sold out online. Dedimmmm
So, I bought a small sample here in the souk, and yes, the expectations were high.. LV as the current number 1 among men's perfumes and then such a hyped clone of it.
I have to say I do like the original, but I'm not a huge fan either.
Due to the weak sillage and what I consider to be a completely absurd price-to-quality ratio, this will simply never find a place in my collection. Additionally, I find overly citrusy scents rather unpleasant, but now with summer approaching, it's always a fresh and good choice..
Well, then the sample arrived, the LV killer from Zara.. sprayed it on, took a deep sniff, and yes.. what can I say.. I would have preferred to wash it off right away.
This unbelievably bathroom cleaner smelling lemon.. a mix of citrus cleaner and Anti-Brumm Forte mosquito spray.. well, I thought.. the original is also really citrusy at the beginning.. but in a different way, not quite as overpowering as the SOTRSD. Let's wait and see if something more comes in the dry down.. and unfortunately, nothing more came, especially the lovely tea notes that make the LV so great over time are completely missing here.
Yes, maybe I'm comparing the Zara exclusively with the LV.. but this comparison is one it must accept in my opinion, as it is precisely designed to imitate it.. so: absolutely no comparison to the original (except for a citrus opening)
Even if I set the comparison aside and had to evaluate this as an independent fragrance, the result would still be the same.. apart from the lemon, nothing comes through.. I could just hang a bathroom cleaner around my neck.. Luckily, it was sold out and I didn't buy it blindly.

Amarena Cherry Sundae
I had already heard a lot of positive things about this fragrance beforehand, and I love cherries.. so it was clear that I had to test this one.. in the perfume shop, a nice lady introduced me to the scent and described it with the words "Imagine you are sitting in an ice cream parlor, the sun is shining, and in front of you is an Amarena cherry sundae." I then had it sprayed on my wrist and could immediately relate to her description 100%.. my friend (who has no sense of smell at all and never picks up anything from fragrances) immediately widened her eyes and said, "It really does smell like Amarena cherry!!!" and I couldn't describe this scent any better.. A perfect combination of cherry and almond.. quite sweet but still pleasant.. very gourmand, I would love to lick my wrist..
However, I do find it quite linear and ultimately I'm not so sure if I want to smell like a sundae?
Maybe it’s good for layering?
Additionally, I personally find it quite feminine.. nonetheless, an extremely wonderful fragrance! I will definitely get a decant and test it more thoroughly.
Anyone who loves cherry will adore Lost Cherry.

Fruit basket in the face..
How do I best start.. it was this scent that really immersed me in the world of perfumes..
Last year, I kept having this scent in my nose.. I didn't know what it was, but whenever I smelled it, I would ask my girlfriend if she could smell it too.. “hm, yes.. could be” was the answer..
In late autumn, I was at a concert and was standing outside in line.. there it was again.. this incredibly fruity, sweet, unbelievably good-smelling scent. I looked around and tried to find the person wearing it.. in vain.. then in the concert hall, there was that scent again.. and then I saw him, the supposed wearer of this masterpiece.. immediately approached him and asked what he was wearing that smelled so unreasonably good..
- Kirké.. he said.. and immediately I was done for..
That was the day I started to delve deeper into perfumes, and that's why this scent is something very special for me.. yes, maybe it is strongly reminiscent of Erba Pura.. and yet I like Kirke better.. my expertise is still far from being able to philosophize about notes and compare the scent development with EP.
So I’ll just describe it as it affects me:
A full fruit basket with fresh, juicy fruits that hits you in the face unexpectedly.. that’s what I feel when I spray this scent.. and I love it.
The longevity and sillage are really decent in my opinion!
All in all, a great creation that is very suitable and versatile for both men and women. Best in spring, but it also fits perfectly on warmer days now. On extremely hot summer days, it might be a bit too intense, but in my opinion, it’s a good all-rounder :)
