An afternoon by the pool
The Afternoon Swim by LV is one of the fruitiest, freshest fragrances I know and simply pure summer
I got myself a bottle some time ago and applied it from time to time and was blown away every time, but it really blew me away on my last summer vacation... in the morning after getting up for breakfast and then to the beach/pool. The daily ritual of an all-inclusive vacationer. One morning I just felt like wearing this fragrance, sprayed it on and then went down to the pool, the sun was shining, the temperature was rising and I had this fresh, orangey mandarin in my nose.... I was flashed by this combination and since then Afternoon Swim has been the epitome of a vacation fragrance for me. The only thing that has kept me from buying it so far is the modest H/S, as I expect a little more for the considerable price than it ultimately delivers.
In addition, the fragrance progression is relatively linear... it smells bomb, but also somewhat simple.
Overall, the AS is an incredibly beautiful fragrance for the summer and unfortunately also more for the big wallet.

Nomadic shadow
... whereby this fragrance behaves less like a shadow and more like a forerunner, signaling to everyone and everything: here I come.
The "Ombre Nomade | Louis Vuitton" is a special fragrance that is as annoying as it is breathtaking. Hated by many, loved by many, I hardly know a fragrance that polarizes so much. I didn't like ON much at first, I didn't think it was bad, but not particularly good either. My girlfriend still hates it today ("the worst perfume you have").
Now I love it more and more. This oriental rose-oud combination (as I've smelled it umpteen times before), plus I think I detect a hint of leather. The incense gives it a nice depth in the combination and makes it almost mystical... funny that I should say that about a perfume, but somehow this word comes to mind. The raspberry rounds off the whole thing with a subtle fruitiness.
Longevity and sillage are nuclear. Even an Arabians Tonka can pack a punch here. Fragrances generally don't last as long on my skin, but the ON is still noticeable the next day and that is really intense.
LVMH naturally pushes the price of this perfume mercilessly towards the absolute pain threshold. But when you consider that you can fog an entire housing estate with two sprays, it becomes clear that the bottle will probably last 1-2 people's lives. The intended use is also relatively limited, not a fragrance for every day and for heaven's sake, please don't wear it in the
Office and certainly not in the gym. If you go out and want to stand out, then this fragrance is a good choice. Hate it or love it. For me it's the latter.

THE summer all-rounder
Since I have recently been able to make friends with a few fragrances from PdM, which were almost all rather heavy and wintery/autumnal, I had to try a few freshies a la "Greenley | Parfums de Marly" and "Sedley | Parfums de Marly". I sprayed the Greenley on the left and the Sedley on the right on my forearms and yes... at first both were fine, although the Greenley developed in a direction that no longer appealed to me. The Sedley, on the other hand... Awesome. Fresh, minty with the necessary dose of citrus... almost sparkling, fizzy... Later on, it becomes increasingly shower gel-like, which I find extremely nice in this case... a high-quality shower gel. In the end, Sedley is almost a little too simple for its price, but you can smell the quality. The H/S are okay, just a freshie. All in all, a great, high-quality fragrance that fits perfectly into the upcoming spring and summer season. It can be worn with a smart shirt, even if it's more elegant, but also in your free time and everyday life. I'm not a fan of fragrances in the gym, but this one would even go well there... simply a perfect all-rounder in the most beautiful time of the year!

Walk along the Down Unders coast
I'm not really a big fan of aquatic fragrances, but I was so taken with the "Pacific Rock Moss | Goldfield & Banks" that I had to have the full bottle after I only had a small bottle to start with.
The fragrance starts off citrusy-fresh... a really nice, refreshing lemon rises to the nose, but is immediately enveloped by a certain aquatic quality. However, this citric opening fades really quickly, the pleasant aquatic freshness remains and green undertones gradually join in, giving the whole thing a subtle depth.
I think the longevity and sillage are rated too poorly here. It's not a beast - but what summer fragrance is. For such a fresh fragrance composition, it lasts surprisingly well and is perfect for everyday summer wear!
With Rock Moss, Goldfield & Banks have created a really great fragrance that transports its wearer to the other side of the world with its maritime aura. All at a more than fair price.
I am thrilled!

No Brainer
I came across this fragrance by chance (at the time I didn't know the "Virgin Island Water | Creed" or the "Malibù - Party In The Bay | Simone Andreoli")
At first I was skeptical, 18€ on Amazon? Would it be any good? The fragrance notes sounded interesting, even though I'm not a fan of coconut... but since it's extremely cheap, I got myself a sample and what can I say... it grabbed me right away with the first spray. A really great lime... no citrus cleaner lemon, but a really green, juicy lime immediately rises to the nose... this is immediately joined by a soft, not so sweet coconut note... before that I was most worried that the coconut content in the fragrance would put me off, but it gives the fragrance a great, creamy component.
I can't smell the rum and cane sugar, but it creates a harmonious overall picture.
Now let me mention a comparison with "Malibù - Party In The Bay | Simone Andreoli", as I also tested it at the same time and ended up buying it too.
The Endless Summer is extremely close to its role model... I'm not really a fan of % similarities... but we're in the 90% range here.
And for a fraction of the price. Insane..
You can certainly tell the quality of the Malibu a bit more, even in terms of H/S it's a different house number compared to the Endless Summer...
In the end, I opted for the Malibu for reasons of durability (and because I'm a brand-name dully).
But if you're looking for a cheap, good alternative or want to try out this fragrance, you can buy it without hesitation.
Clear recommendation for the summer! For a small price you get a super fresh summer fragrance that imitates the well-known models very well.
