What a sneaky smell!
Crime scene: Alsterhaus, two weeks before Christmas. I was out on the town with a friend, we were testing men's fragrances for your friend. A nice saleswoman sprays the famous Aventus for him on a little paper, not bad.
"The ladies' version is also very beautiful" she says, and immediately both our arms are dripping wet from the said scent.
Oh yes very nice, the Ladies-Aventus purrs at us with fruity and rosy freshness.
After one hour our noses enjoy the fresh air and find some relaxation after the previous scented roller coaster.
A little later I was curious to see how the Aventus was doing on my wrist.
I fritzed the sleeve of my parkas to the side, slap! A pungent smell came towards me and my nose was tingling. I was confused. You couldn't have been Where has this pleasantly soft, fruity freshness gone?
I didn't admit defeat yet and tried again.
But there was nothing to do, the stuff was hissing and biting and scratching
Woody fresh, pungent, synthetic.
First you ingratiate yourself and then you get a slap, I thought, grumbling.
And it holds like Pattex. On many a day Aventus has covered my actual perfume on my right arm when I was wearing my parka, although the sleeve of my top is in between...
A smooth 10 for the durability, also the sillage is decent.
My parka will soon be sent to the cleaners.

The days are getting longer again. When you open your eyes in the morning, still drowsy, blinking into the twilight, seeing pale spots of light shimmering through the blinds on the walls, even though it is only 6 a.m., then you know that the dark curtain of winter is slowly making way for the liveliness of spring. Which involuntarily brings a little smile to your face.
The day begins fresh and fruity and slightly tart, a sparkling spring rain on the brightening horizon, from which one seeks shelter under an apricot tree. The cool water makes its way between the branches, drips down from the not yet fully ripe fruits and is pleasant on the skin.
The shower passes quickly, the spring sun appears and slowly warms up. The scent of fruity currants and raspberries is in the air. The world slowly wakes up, it gets warmer, creamy soft and sweetish, fresh spring wind blows through your hair.

Fresh and fruity cheerfulness in a bottle. Also beautiful in winter, when you need a pick-me-up instead of lulling cuddly vanilla.
Sillage is not so pronounced with me, the scent becomes very skin-tight after about 4 hours. I am looking forward to spring/summer and hope that the warmth will strengthen both :)

Even though the warm season is already a few weeks over, my very first comment on parfumo applies to this summer water here :)
We met for the first time when I was about 13/14 years old. My father was professionally abroad for some time and wanted to make us a little joy, because he could buy some fragrances there cheaply
I was a sniffer commissioner, so get in the next turquoise to work through the list. I can't remember the other candidates exactly, but when I sprayed the Light Blue, I was positively surprised. You can always hunt me with citrus-fresh scents. But this one was different.
Not some nasty toilet lemon that'll etch your mucous membranes off. No bath cleaner associations.
The flowers make the lemon less sour and round, the woody base gives the fresh air a certain depth.
Arrived at home, I present my achievements (the test strips), and everyone (mum, sister and also brother) was very taken with the Light Blue, so that we girls soon each had a bottle of lemon flowers in the cupboard. Whenever the temperatures were on 'sweat', I cooled down with Light Blue.
After my bottle was empty, I didn't buy it for a long time, but in summer 2017 I got another one (from my parents :D). Next summer he will hold out, what comes after that will show up ;)
