My entry into the world of perfume was heralded by Tom Ford - Oud Minérale.

I was so fascinated to discover a fragrance that is so unique. It transported me directly to the rugged Atlantic.
As soon as I had it in my nose, I was instantly captivated.

A year later, the announcement came, and I wondered how one could take such a scent off the market.

Fortunately, I managed to secure a 17 batch, which adorns my shelf.

Now to the Dua:
I ordered the Dua on a whim. Four days later, it was already in the mail.
I tore open the package immediately and sprayed it on my arm.

Perception over 10 hours:
In my opinion, it is a 1:1 dupe compared to the announced variant, for which I am incredibly grateful. I will immediately reorder 2 x 30ml as a backup.

For everyone who is contemplating the order:
You are doing everything right and will not be disappointed!

I must mention upfront that it is not easy to describe this fragrance or to break down my scent experience into several components.
For me, it starts with a very fruity (passion fruit) note mixed with smooth rum (Ron Millonario XO Reserva).

This is definitely not an artificial blend of fruit and rum that comes across as overwhelming.

After about an hour, soft and not too dry leather joins in. As a leather skeptic, I am absolutely thrilled with the perfect balance, which up to this point is top-notch.

At the end of the day, a sweet-vanilla scent lingers on the skin and especially on clothing, which lasts through the night and happily leaves its mark on the fabric.

A wonderful scent experience and a Xerjoff that I can no longer imagine my collection without.

It all started with a sample a year ago…
At first, I noticed a chemical note and set the sample aside for sorting out.
Three months later, I took on the Oud Stars and held a sharing for the Fars.
After the first test and with a now better-trained nose, I still perceived something sharp in the opening. However, this time I could identify the lavender.
This is quickly accompanied by beautiful soft wood, which remains until the drydown.

I keep smelling my wrist and had to realize that I like it more and more.
After a few more days, I was completely taken in. The addiction has me!
This addiction has stayed with me to this day….

Hello fragrance friends,

By chance, I received a sample of this amazing scent. I’ll say this much... It was inhaled within 2 days.

I immediately smell a light oud note, followed by a slightly sweet scent accompanied by a hint of incense. At the end of the day, a sweet leathery note remained on my arm, accompanied by woody tones.

In my opinion, the composition is a dream. It is never overpowering.
Nevertheless, the sillage and longevity is a solid 8.

As for the fragrance, I can only say this... I will be adding it to my collection soon and placing it in my top 5.

I bought the fragrance based on the ingredients that apply to me.
My expectations were really high.

Day 1: I opened the wonderful packaging and already imagined how it would look to have several of these as decoration on the shelf.
Just the appearance of a novel...
But it’s supposed to be about the scent.
My first thought was: This is going to blow me away!

Well, "Every Storm A Serenade | Imaginary Authors" does carry it in the name.
Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed because I had envisioned something completely different. Not so extreme. And by extreme, I really mean a scent that suggests a feeling of an attack on you.

I put it away overnight and dug it out again earlier.
A dreary, rainy day on the edge of the forest.
I wanted to go outside and sprayed this fragrance on, imagining I was in Scotland walking through the moor.
Suddenly, the connection to this scent came.
That's exactly it. That's exactly what it's for.
Such days give this fragrance free rein, and on those days, I will wear it!

A special scent that can stay with me.
