Teleport to the Orient
I was looking for a fragrance that perfectly captures the Orient. Not just a strong oud fragrance, but far more complex compositions.
And that's exactly what Turath is. Anyone who has ever been to Egypt, Saudi Arabia etc. will notice that Turath smells less like a typical oriental perfume and more like the scent of small stores, markets and Bedouin villages has been captured and bottled.
It is extremely complex but without being overwhelming. For me, the fragrance easily lasts into the next day. I have also only received positive feedback so far.
If anyone wants to try an oriental that is not so woody, this is a really good choice.
