I am currently testing my way through all the Initio fragrances (which were completely unknown to me before I registered here at Parfumo #shameonme … )

So here I am with "Musk Therapy | Initio." A little spritz on my wrist and off we go on this wild ride.

Fruity, that's the first word that immediately came to mind. Deliciously fruity!
You can immediately smell the mandarin and blackcurrant.

In the dry down, everything blends with the musk note, and the sandalwood is also noticeable.

The scent smells clean, fresh, fruity. The perfect combination of all notes. A wonderful charmer when you just want something not too intense and wild.

Sillage is very good! Sprayed in the morning and still detectable in the evening.
Definitely unisex. Smells amazing on my husband too!

So it's a great combination that I really enjoy.

And there it was again, that slight hesitation after I read the fragrance pyramid.

Suede … This one little essence that I usually can’t stand smelling on myself! (Oops, I forgot the good old moss)

But since the fragrance was rated so well here and quite a few ladies have written great reviews about how much they love it, I had to test it.

The fragrance arrived, and I had to apply it immediately. A spritz, let it settle for a moment, and what can I say? WOW! How incredibly noble, delicate, and perfect can a fragrance smell? The scent immediately gives me cashmere vibes. Very soft vanilla with a light leather note. I can only smell the mandarin very faintly, but it rounds off the fragrance perfectly.

I smelled the little spritz on my wrist all day long. Sillage and longevity are definitely superb.

Must-have for anyone who enjoys noble vanilla fragrances.

This is my first review and you should know, I am not a “I-smell-my-wrist-and-can-tell-you-every-note-of-a-fragrance-from-top-to-bottom-girl” (“How many hyphens should there be?” … Sarah: “Yes!”). I just try to describe what my nose perceives in some way.

So, now to the scent. I had a little bit of the fragrance decanted to test it because I was immediately drawn to the fragrance pyramid.

So, a spritz on the mentioned wrist and off we go. The first thing that positively popped into my head was: FINALLY! Finally one with leather that doesn’t immediately turn my wrist into a muscular hairy man’s arm, as I unfortunately feel that this is always the case for me when leather is involved…

Continuing on. I can immediately smell the strawberry. Not a squeaky, synthetic, overly sweet strawberry, no, very delicate, delicious without excessive sweetness. The caramel joins in and together with the strawberry, it’s a true feast. I personally don’t smell the rose at all.

In the dry down, there are very subtle vanilla notes that are still noticeable until the end. The oud also comes through but only in a way that intensifies the fragrance a bit and doesn’t disturb at all.

I would clearly rate the sillage 10/10. The spritz on my sweater lasted until the next day and the scent is still noticeable on my wrist after 8-10 hours.

Conclusion: Clearly, worth it! :-)
