I have fallen in love, and it’s with a real classic*. Before, I had heard so much about him. Many called him outdated, some even deemed him unwearable today, associating him with sorrow and death. All these warnings did nothing - I had to get to know him. I thought: if nothing comes of us, at least it will be a new experience and perhaps an expansion of my horizons. But what can I say - you completely surprised and amazed me. Despite your over 110 years, you come across remarkably fresh and wonderfully timeless - almost as if you have traveled through the ages unscathed.

The iris in the base note is as beautiful and clean as in my equally beloved Infusion d'Iris (2015) Eau de Parfum.

It’s a wonderful feeling that you have accompanied so many different people in the most diverse times (I read that women used "L'Heure Bleue (Eau de Toilette) | Guerlain" to perfume the wartime letters of their lovers).
Your creator was a true master to create a fragrance that is practically a time traveler. It would be lovely if the fragrance could tell stories....
I am so happy that you will accompany me from now on in my lifetime.

....that I would love to share with you. It’s been a few years now since we treated ourselves to a weekend without the kids. In the evening, we went to the best spot in town and ordered a few cocktails. I had dressed up and sat across from my husband, feeling like it was one of our first dates. Magic in the air. I felt really hot, and my The One Essence was perfectly chosen for that evening. Time and again, a cloud of fragrance wafted into my nose, and I smiled at my husband enticingly. Later, we discovered an underground disco in another part of the city with a younger crowd. I danced my heart out, and yes, I simply didn’t care what others thought of me - I had the impression that those present were pale with envy. I just didn’t care because I can be like that too. Yes, and somehow this scent is like that as well. It’s something for your appearance. I see it in the evening. It’s also not for someone who, sorry - is young and innocent. The ripe peaches come across as far too lush, and that’s why it suits a real woman so well. She in a chic location, who later rocks the underground and kisses like a promise. Forbiddenly good - if you can do that.

I have been active on Parfumo for quite a few years now and completely forgot to describe and rate an absolute LIKE: Infusion d'Iris (2015) Eau de Parfum! That’s just not right - I have to catch up immediately:
I have repurchased this fragrance multiple times, and if it were ever to be discontinued, I would truly miss it immensely. Years ago, I was completely frustrated with the usual scents that all seemed to be quite sweet or mass-appealing. Due to a nasty flu, I was lying in bed and browsing through many fragrances, imagining how they might smell and how they would affect me. I simply wanted something entirely different. With this one, I couldn't imagine anything at all, and that’s exactly why I wanted it. I came, sprayed it, and it took a little while before I was sure that this particular fragrance makes the difference. The game changer of my fragrance world so far! It is special and folks: that’s exactly what I like. I am too :) It is fresh but also elegant - it has something herbal/woody and also something soapy. It is clean and it has class. You (whether man or woman) wear it with confidence, and it conveys that to you as well. It is a scent for you - it doesn’t want to stand out or fill the room. I find the "mint" color on the cap and the packaging very fitting. I am even quite pleased that it divides opinions - because one must love, live, and also understand this high art of perfumery. Infusion d'Iris (2015) Eau de Parfum is one of the best fragrances in the world for me! "Thank you" - is all I can say at this point.

A few days ago, I received a wonderful perfume package from a super friendly perfumer here. To my surprise, there was a small sample of Babycat included, and I was instantly head over heels - even though I probably wouldn't have come across such a scent or didn't know that I was missing something like this.
However, the price blew me away... Many praised Rifaaqat as a good alternative. Well, I've had mixed experiences with dupes, and then I kept reading "burnt rubber" - luckily, I didn't let that deter me: because I find it dreamy - ideal for the upcoming autumn and winter, elegant, cozy, spicy, and leathery - gigantic for this price. Totally unisex. Beautiful - absolutely no disappointment - on the contrary: I like it - NICE.

I find it so cozy, powdery, gentle yet still super long-lasting. I just feel well-groomed with it.
It's a mystery to me how it can annoy someone. If I had to choose a good handful of fragrances, this one would definitely be among them.
I think anyone who likes Narciso Eau de Parfum Poudrée might want to give this one a try as well.
For me, it's an absolute LIKE and I'm really glad to have found it.
