The essence of seduction

The first time I saw this scent on my favourite drugstore's shelves I imagined a woman wearing a little black dress and fumé tights walking on the streets of an Italian city by night and giving off the trail of her charming scent. and the scent is this essence, a true love potion.
At the opening, it hits your nose with fresh fruity accents, very mediterranean and in the Dolce & Gabbana's style , then you smell an intoxicating and warm jasmin at the heart, while I find that the lily of the valley , although present, is very light and just perceivable, at least on my skin.
The base is rich and warm and the amber notes, nor bitter neithe rmedicinal, are enveloping, as well as the dry vanilla, not sweetish and very well balanced. There ones are very longlasting on my skin, so the sillage results good and overall very charming. It's an "absolute" scent, for a woman who says yes or no, determined, but extremely feminin. A four season scent to wear whenever you want to feel sexy but classy at the same time.
The squared bottle with the black top is minimal, but very refined . so, a little jewel , a jus of seduction , quite expensive but really powerful. A new love is born. Italian style doesn't lie!

Beauty Overlooked

Everything you love about The One, but enhanced. For me it's the fruity amber I find to be very attractive with white florals mingling in the mix. A pretty blend enwrapped in vanilla that gives an impression of sensuality. A potentially amazing date night fragrance that will not go unnoticed; at least not by me. The peach and vanilla here may put you in the mind of the original Burberry for Women. Despite being released in 2015, The One Essence is vastly underrated and a beauty overlooked. This could be because this fragrance was launched before the existence of TikTok and peak of influencer culture. I suppose that's what makes this special. The One Essence is a hidden gem.

Underwhelmed & Not Impressed

Hello there my Fellow Fragrance Friends! So today I'll be reviewing the scent Dolce & Gabanna The One Essence. And I must say I was not impressed by this AT ALL!. Like so many other enthusiastic fragrance lovers, I became interested in wanting to put my nose on this scent per recommendation of YouTube fragrance influencers hyping this up to higher heights. However to me this smells very mature. I'm getting financially stable woman age of 55 plus who is always pulled together, dressed well and donning beautiful accessories type of energy from this. I'm not in this category but even if I was I'd still pass on this one as I have a sweet tooth and in my opinion this is not sweet. More fresh with some floral undertones. I really wish I picked up the banana notes other folks say they can detect because that was actually part of what propelled me to wanna sample this. I also did not pick up the peach or the mandarin orange that was promised in the opening. I wanted so badly to be swept away by this but it never happened. This would be a gem for the right gal, she however was not for me.

Warm Skin in Cold Snow

The One Essence is one of the new releases that is truly successful. I was completely astonished after I tested it for the first time. A few days ago, I kindly received a generous sample from a local perfumery, and I must admit that I had no good expectations at all. However, these were significantly surpassed, and I am considering whether to get it as a bottle.

The One Essence is, of course, inspired by the classic "The One." However, this one brings much more warmth to the wearer and reveals itself to be a cuddly monster that secretly keeps stuffing itself with tons of delicious sweets. The thought always made me laugh, as I could vividly picture this The One Essence cuddly monster right before my eyes :D

The One Essence announces itself as a high-quality cuddly - vanilla - gourmand fragrance. At first, it comes off as slightly arrogant and sharp, but just a few minutes later, you can clearly feel how the components gently settle on the wearer and begin to lull them. Right from the start, there is a sparkling note of mandarin and a hint of dried orange peels, which feel very comfortable in the protective embrace of the vanilla, which has been involved from the beginning and becomes warmer and more abundant over time. The floral notes in the pyramid are only faintly perceptible, as they seem hardly present. Perhaps they shimmer slightly in the background. However, I can't quite identify what kind of flower it is. Rather, after an hour of wear, a thickening layer of powder has formed, which has befriended the vanilla. They make a good team, and The One Essence evolves into a fine, mature oriental that presents itself as very cuddly and trustworthy. The vanilla seems to have been used here very powerfully and qualitatively. It is not that vanilla packet aroma, nor that thick vanilla pudding stuff. It is a vanilla scent, as if you have just freshly scraped the vanilla pod with the tip of a knife and let everything fall onto a warm cake. A home of vanilla. For those few minutes, at least, until the cuddly monster stuffs the cake into its mouth.

The One Essence smells to me like warm peach cake, topped with a layer of vanilla. Everything is deliciously enveloped in a lovely powdery note. Simply irresistible. And when the cake disappears into the stomach or fades away in everyone's thoughts, it shines warmly from within. A true scent to snuggle into.

The feeling of warm skin on cold snow is something everyone surely knows?! That’s how it is when it slowly makes its way to disappear. It still feels distinctly sweet, yet it leaves a slight golden shimmer behind, which appears in clarity like a divine manifestation. That’s when it is most beautiful to me. So rounded, so clear. You can directly feel the touches of this fragrance on warm skin. It has slightly sunk from the powder, feels a bit cooler on its own, yet it wraps around the skin so cleverly that even the cuddly monster can't help but lay down with me in the snow, as it also wants to be lovingly protected and supported.

Like footprints in the soft snow, the fragrance leaves impressions on me. And these are effective!
It lasts easily for a day. The gourmand blanket does not come off until the end, and it presents itself as a true companion for the cold hours when we start to feel cold.

You are The One or the Essence of One

Admittedly, a lot reminds me of the "regular" The One. Those who know it might think they can skip the Essence. The difference is really small,,,but all the finer!
Since the notes essentially match, one might think that what follows can't be that different. However, it is the amount of ingredients used that separates the wheat from the chaff for my nose and some others. With TO, I struggled with too much lychee and mandarin, the latter of which, as is well known, can lead to, let's say, "health issues" in too high a concentration for me. In TOE, the proportion of peaches seems to be higher, which makes the scent immediately "tastier" for me. The sharpness is gone, the element that used to shoot up into the head is tamed and no longer makes its presence known. Thus, this essence feels rounder as a whole. Where the EdP still had edges and corners, none can be found here. The scent is more harmonious, soft and fluffy at the same time, and harmonized with a very delicious vanilla base. An ideal winter cuddle when it’s uncomfortable outside or as a companion when you have to go out and the icy winds, snow, and rain slap against your face. Somehow, everything feels much easier with this scent, as if by magic. Perhaps the weather isn’t sunnier because of it, but the clouds do seem a bit rosier, the snowflakes sparkle even more like diamonds, and the raindrops shimmer even more vividly. The fresh and cool air makes TOE shine and glow, bringing its soul to the surface, where it can finally perform its soothing work.
"The One Essence" is more mature, grounded, and if it were a human trait that I’m trying to describe, it would be wiser for me. Where the EdP sometimes runs wild and moods fluctuate, Essence is more adult, somewhat reserved, thoughtful, and self-controlled. Still strong and loud, but in a more elegant and stylish manner, never exaggerated. In music, the violin would meet the cello, in nature, the wild rose would meet the noble rose, and in the fauna, the chamois and the gazelle would stand opposite each other. Essence doesn’t top the other; it completes it. It doesn’t make it smaller; it only strengthens its backbone, and it doesn’t dominate it, but walks protectively alongside it.
A few years ago, the EdP was ideal for me. Today, however, Essence is the right one among the "One's," because we have all become more mature...
