Not what I expected..
When I read the name and the ingredients, I thought of something that gently envelops and warms me.
It does that to some extent, but I only feel warm in the last few hours and then only subtly.
Top note reminds me of Megamare without the mega, it also gives this metallic citric but without this overwhelming of Megamare in the drydown the whole thing becomes softer but still well perceptible
After the drydown, a slightly resinous soft freshness remains without much frills, the sillage decreases over time but is still perceptible on my skin even after 10+ hours and a shower
Durability on my skin is a 10/10 and the bottle has also become noticeably more valuable compared to the two Flamingos.
All in all, I find Cocoon to be a great, simple fragrance, even if it is different from what I originally expected.

Have you ever lit perfume?
The Fleuve Tendre caught me quite unexpectedly, when I was strolling through my favorite perfumery in search of another summer fragrance, I came across it, my consultant made me the tester and showed me the fragrance and I thought to myself mhm can what I find quite nice, but suddenly she sprays the perfume in the lid and lights it.
I was shocked, confused and excited at the same time, she explained to me that by lighting it the alcohol evaporates and the pure oil remains... Now I was curious and then the disappointment the fragrance smelled more intense but it also had a burnt note... for me that was it, I went out and got some fresh air and suddenly after smelling it several times this burnt note was gone and what was left was an intense interplay of rose geranium slightly citrusy sweetness and a peppery spice but in perfect harmony and since that day the Fleuve Tendre is my go to fragrance in warm temperatures.

Fresh citrus turns into cozy warmth
I ordered the fragrance blind as I do with 90% of my fragrances and what can I say, I fell in love. The packaging looks lovely and well thought out and the fragrance reflects that. At the beginning you notice a playful citrus but with a slightly peppery twist. In the drydown, however, this fragrance really unfolds its potential for me, the aroma of the coconut palm wood in combination with the friendly lavender note make this fragrance warm and pleasant to wear, the incense is relatively subtle and serves more to underline the heart notes. The gurjun balsam together with the vetiver and patchouli round off the overall package.
