Walk through Versailles

The fragrance smells super luxurious,
Elegant and all in all simply pleasant.
I think it can be worn at almost any time of the year and is a real recommendation, especially for friends of sweeter fragrances that are not supposed to be super "sticky".
In my opinion, clearly the best from the French Collection by Birkholz.
Durability and sillage are okay but nothing earth-shattering

A wonderful unisex fragrance

When I applied Versailles - Trésor de Jardin, I was immediately impressed, which surprised me because I don't usually find coconut fragrances that great. Only the performance could be better. The longevity on my skin is 7 to 8 hours with a rather mediocre sillage.

The top note starts nutty, gourmand, spicy, oriental, creamy, sweet and citrusy. I recognize grated coconut, cinnamon, bergamot, allspice and nutmeg. The heart note goes in a woody direction with coconut palms and a certain Christmas spice touch. In the base, I recognize coconut cream as well as gurjun balsam with cinnamon. I couldn't detect any incense or lavender here.

In the end, I am really impressed by Versailles - Trésor de Jardin. I would like to thank Sören for the bottling.

Fresh citrus turns into cozy warmth

I ordered the fragrance blind as I do with 90% of my fragrances and what can I say, I fell in love. The packaging looks lovely and well thought out and the fragrance reflects that. At the beginning you notice a playful citrus but with a slightly peppery twist. In the drydown, however, this fragrance really unfolds its potential for me, the aroma of the coconut palm wood in combination with the friendly lavender note make this fragrance warm and pleasant to wear, the incense is relatively subtle and serves more to underline the heart notes. The gurjun balsam together with the vetiver and patchouli round off the overall package.

I find the longevity very good Sillage is rather subtle
