Standard vintage floral DNA
Didn't blow me away. Nothing really "fiery" about it. Opening with a lovely but standard with aldehydes, jasmine, lily of the valley and a hefty dose of sweetness from the slightly synthetic honey note. As it dries is opens up to more florals; mainly violet, acacia, ylang-ylang and iris; which is where this perfume is at it's best. Not unique but still great. It has that amazing vintage sandalwood and tonka bean with some vanilla in the end.

Stunning vintage
Absolutely stunning. Opens light and floral with brights Aldehydics and jasmine with a slight citronella twang. Can't say I am too familiar with Bouvardia or Marjoram but they are differently parts of the myriad of florals it dries into along with ylang-yalng, rose, carnation, and a slightly powdery iris. The leathery, furry, vanilla, suede, animalic base is out of this world. There is a touch of sweetness throughout that makes it extremely palatable despite it's harsh, vintage, animalic nature. Not as stinky as expected. Perfectly unisex.

Jack of all trades, master of none.
I was not alive in 1994 when this fragrance was released so I cannot speak first hand to its popularity and the mark it left on the fragrance industry. I can only compare it to it's contemporaries. A fragrance marketed towards everyone was not common and likely revolutionary but now this fragrance is nothing special.

It is a light and airy fragrance. All I can pick up on is citrus and musk with noticeable yet subtle floral notes. I don't know why but I was expecting a more complex scent but this surprised me. It's not nearly as offensive as obsession. In fact it is one of the least offensive scents I have ever smelt.

I can see why this is held in a high regard for its influential nature but it is was probably so influential it is just flat out boring now. It's cheap but not worth buying because their are just better suited fragrances for each occasion.

Clean Musk
I expected a dark and heavily animalic scent (which I love) but was pleasantly surprised. Many of the newer zoologist fragrances are transitioning away from stinky and overly animalic fragrances and moving towards more pleasant and wearable creations.

The musk is clean and fresh, which the sweetness of the cardamom perfectly compliments. It is obvious the perfumer was familiar with the differences between a synthetic musk and ambrette and beautifully played into ambrette's strengths. The spice is subtle and bright. The rose and oud are slight at first but once it drys down the oud really shines. The heart notes are blended well together making it hard to pick them out individually but their effect can still be appreciated.

Gentle
Gentle Fluidity is the perfect title for this fragrance. It smells woody, green and both warm and fresh at the same time. Airy like linen. Easy to wear and mass appealing but lacks in projection, which is surprising when you compare it to other MFK fragrances. One of my favorite scents from Kurkdjian personally but unfortunately does not preform well.
