The Name Says It All
The big evening..... the name describes this fragrance so perfectly, as no other fragrance does.

A masterpiece of perfume. From the bottle to the cap to the glass and even the color of the perfume, it embodies the luxury one expects and deserves at this price point.

A scent that is made for the Palace of Versailles.

A sweetness that is completely different, combined with the other fragrance notes, gives it this soft and light spiciness that adds depth to the scent. You can clearly see a progression. At first, it is a bit harsher on the nose and becomes softer and more harmonious after a short time. The amber and vanilla work perfectly together and create the ideal base for the remaining fragrance notes.

A composition that is perfectly coordinated. I believe the most fitting term is "perfected." Nothing more, nothing less, that is exactly how it is perfected.

You must wear this fragrance if you want to smell of class and elegance.
Previously, it was Angels Share by Kilian for me, but now it is definitely Grand Soir.

If you should test this fragrance, please wear it. Spray it on your skin and you will notice that the scent takes a little time to develop into its true self.

I don't need to say much about the longevity and sillage. Both are above average but never unpleasant. I would even go so far as to say that you can't really overspray it.
That doesn't mean you should, as 3-5 sprays are more than sufficient for the whole day, let alone the evening.

By far the best MFK. The perfumer Francis Kurkdjian has truly outdone himself with this symphony. A remarkable achievement in perfume.

All in all, truly a fragrance for the top 3 list and perhaps even the best for me.

Luxury in a Bottle
This fragrance truly offers luxury on a new level. Every time I want to apply this perfume and hold the bottle in my hand, I am reminded of how much work and luxury is encapsulated in the bottle itself. It reminds one of an expensive cognac glass, with top-notch craftsmanship.

But that’s not all. The scent conveys the same values. Expensive cognac with nutty/sweet notes, making it one of the best gourmand fragrances. When you want to wear this scent, you can’t just throw on anything. You have to dress to match the fragrance. A pressed shirt, suit pants, and nice loafers are the bare minimum.

The fragrance really gives you the feeling of sitting in a Davidoff lounge. A Cuban cigar in one hand and a fine cognac in the other.

In conclusion, I can only mention that the longevity and sillage of the fragrance are truly above average. For me, the scent lasts effortlessly all day.

I just had to write a review
I've had the scent for about a week now and what can I say, I love it.

The more I smell it, the more I like it. I can't quite say what makes the scent so perfect, but this lemon cake-like fragrance just blows me away. It's rare that I use scents at home just to smell them, but with this one, that's the case.
I apply it to my wrist just to sniff it while watching TV.

I've really smelled and bought a lot of fragrances in my life, but this has been my best purchase so far.

It's just very very very unfortunate that the scent only lasts a few hours. After applying, it's completely gone after about 4-5 hours, and the sillage is moderate for 1-2 hours.

However, I specifically got small spray bottles so I can always have it with me and reapply.

This is where it all began
I'm really not the type to write long reviews, but with this perfume, I just had to express my unfiltered opinion, as I find the ratings to be quite below average.

My journey into the world of fragrances started about 2 1/2 years ago. Back then, I knew nothing at all but had some occasional contact with scents here and there. So, I decided to finally buy my first real perfume.

I went to the nearest Douglas and sniffed various fragrances. At that time, I had an untrained nose and little to no experience with scents.

Then I tried Luna Rossa Ocean, and I liked it immediately.

A very fresh, aquatic scent that still has that certain HMPF. It’s not a typical marine fragrance that only reminds you of water. Instead, it reflects the entire sea. It has a very pleasant depth that transitions into woodiness and just grazes the leathery note. You can also easily detect the fruity notes, which give the fragrance a citrusy direction.

It doesn't develop much over the time you wear it, but it doesn't need to, as it already comes across as relatively complex. The scent progression is therefore rather on the monotonous side, which doesn’t mean it’s boring. It has almost completed its development at the beginning and only changes a little afterward. The citrusy/fruity notes from the opening diminish somewhat over time, while the base notes remain intact.

The longevity is also not bad in the slightest for me. After 7-8 hours, I can still perceive it, and in the first 4-5 hours, it projects quite well for a fresher scent.

All in all, a very pleasantly fresh fragrance that can be used almost all the time.
