At the Right Moment...
Today he moved into my regular perfumery in Vienna, which I didn't know. And already today he gets to stay with me :)
I may not be his target audience at 50+, but still ;)
I'm not much help with the scent progression, but I smell something extraordinary from start to finish that doesn't escape my nose. This detail catches my attention. It's a stroke of luck that today I had a completely different search criterion than usual, namely: fresh and light, definitely not creamy or musky or heavy.
I find the bottle modern and chic, especially in the 100ml version.
For me, it's ideal because I'm very cautious with unisex fragrances, to put it mildly, even cowardly.
I circle around Voyage d'Hermes EDT every summer but still don't dare to commit.
I'm taking CK2 out today right away, so if it hits, I can say: "I was one of the first."

...it tempts the handbag...
...almost succumbed to the handbag, but I own Daisy Dream Forever...
Decadence is, for me, a winter-appropriate version of this fragrance, which will surely make a splash in the Christmas market. If I didn't know the aforementioned scent, I would probably have fallen for it, and those who learn to love this one first will like it, because it does have something, although, as so often, the wheel hasn't been reinvented here.
Good marketing, but it's not a major coup.
For Marc Jacobs fans, it's a great scent for the colder season.
Personally, I prefer to stick with Daisy Dream Forever, as it's more wearable for everyday use, unless I want to apply more in the evening, then it can definitely be layered well. Whether the opulent handbag is too much of a good thing, I don't know yet...
I wouldn't invest in it, but as a gift, it would bring me joy, because I'm the playful type, but even here, the floral bottle has already done its part. Sillage and longevity are clearly better with Decadence, so my problem is that it feels like too much of a good thing for me.
Sorry, I hope the scent progression has already been described earlier; it doesn't blow me away either.
Well done, but not stunning is my personal feeling.
What remains for me is a certain ambivalence...

Paris, a Story
As a younger woman, I wore Paris.
It was the 80s and I wore it almost as a signature scent. Completely unabashed, without any idea of the treasure I was carrying with me day after day. I was so in love with this fragrance. I had shower gel, scrub, body lotion, body cream, probably also deodorant...everything, really.
What stands out in my memory is the absolute quality of the care line.
I can’t recall when Paris disappeared from my life, along with other scents from YSL.
Recently, in search of sillage, inspired by the film "YSL," I got it back.
It seems tamer to me now, as it appears to have been reformulated.
Perhaps it now lacks the "tingle" that I remember. This fragrance brings me a treasure for the second time, one that will accompany me everywhere.
Clearly, we have both changed, perhaps no longer as exciting, but more composed and stylish.

Cult!
For me, this scent is simply cult.
No, it has nothing to do with the original Opium.
It fits perfectly with a black leather jacket and smells at the opening like the good old Bazooka bubble gum.
If you were to test it blind, and it didn't have to measure up to its successful "brother," it would have an easier time.
At second glance, the bottle may seem a bit cheap, but at first... it rocks and has already won my heart before the second, just like the scent.
Rocky, warm, sensual, and special... a true YSL :)

...a personal love story, part 1
I must preface that Chloe's, Love Chloe's, and their flankers play in a league of their own for me. I simply love them, every time I wear them...always love, for some at first sight, for others on the second glance ;)
Love Story is also such a fragrance for me:
Bottle: very successful, it symbolizes a lock that lovers attach to bridge railings as a symbol of their love. I think the modern is very well combined with the classic here.
The scent is fresh and soft at the same time, which is what makes Chloe for me. The Stephanotis is a wonderful note, the composition with the other notes is executed with modern elegance.
Even big girls like to be romantic. And this one is.
The timing of its release in autumn may not have been the best choice. Spring and summer are probably its best times.
...although romance knows no season :)
I probably won't be able to get past this love, then part 2 of the love story follows :)
I can't really judge the longevity and sillage yet, but I couldn't wait to leave you my thoughts on this fragrance.
With love for you.
