Everybody loves it..
Except me!

I don't know how and why. I couldn't stand wearing it so I gave it to my mother who loved that!

I received it as a birthday present and I was so happy to have it in my collection but from the first spray something too woody, too citrusy(?) came to my nose.
I hoped that would be only a bad opening but that continued during the whole day. Two people asked me what perfume I was wearing and I answered smiling while hating this!

My mother also complimented my new perfume. So, Lucky her!!

It lasts all day so its great in terms of longevity in case you love the scent.

I really don't know how this could be a safe blind buy.

I'm in love
This is probably to nobody's surprise, but I am absolutely in love with jadore.

If I were to describe the most feminine, delicate, gentle woman - she would be wearing this.
AAhhhhh BEAUTIFUL composition, wherein every single note is flowing like a river, not clashing and just filling your head with elegance.

A faint hint of roses, mild and soft jasmine (that does NOT make this perfume creamy??? amazing), with a little touch of citruses at the very top, just to spice it up a little tiny bit, but you don't focus on that, your attention is distracted by sweet tender vanilla...

I am SAD, because it's so hard to find this perfume nowadays and I have so little left of it that now it just sits on my shelves as a trophy of what a GOOD perfume should be.

I believe this scent can be worn during any season, any time of the day, I also think it would be a great base to layer some other scents on top of it, just to spice it up.

Imagine as if you have a table with the most intricate, yet beautifully crafted cloth. It's up to you what you want to put on top of it, but the cloth is where is all lies - that is this perf.

Be it you are a young girl, a grown-up woman or mature lady - this scent can fit you all. (BUT keep in mind, if you are below the age of 25 at least you would be too young for this one!!)
PLEASE try it out. It's so exquisite and luxirious.

Toned Down J'Adore
I'm stretching my mind back to an unfortunate testing of the original J'Adore EDT back in 2009. I am happy to say that this 2011 reformulation has improved the composition by a mile. No sharp and unfriendly citrus notes to be found in this version, thank goodness!

J'Adore EDT is a tad fresher and more floral than the EDP. It's also less thick and better suited to casual wear.

The J'adore series is not my personal favourite from Dior, however since testing J'Adore EDT and J'Adore L'Or, my affection seems to be growing. This fragrance has a beautiful, feminine feel, which is quite inoffensive and easy to wear.

The opening is fresh and invigorating, like a glass of cold lemonade, with a hint of dewy, white florals underneath. Jasmine and African orange blossom appear to be the most dominant notes on my skin, followed by a smooth drydown of creamy white woods.

It's quite a grown-up scent, something to suit those refined and elegant ladies. Despite being classified as a floral, it still has a slight fruity and citrusy feel, which places J'Adore EDT in the fruity floral genre for me.

The sillage is moderate to strong, with the lasting strength being rather impressive. Amongst all of the current Dior reformulations, this is by far their best, and is perhaps the only reformulation Dior should have ever considered doing.

I adore J'adore!
I liked immediately this edt from the moment it came out: the Golden bottle drop shaped and the very feminin bouquet conquired me .
On my skin this acchord smells very good: in particular, I smell the tuberose and jasmine heart notes , so sweet and intense. The sillage too is quite strong (at least on my skin, I mean!)
Thios edt seems perfect to wear by day or also by night in the hot season, for a very feminin and precious touch

Bullying on the Playground
There they stand on the playground: All students with their own unique talents. The mandarin is great at math and quickly solves even the most complicated formulas. The jasmine is the class representative and a true organizational talent. The orange blossom, on the other hand, is more musically gifted and the best in the class when it comes to singing. The rose shines in biology class and can recite the scientific names of all Rosaceae from memory while doing a headstand. The tuberose knows everything about history, and her best friend ylang-ylang is a real sports star. The woody notes are a fun clique - they constantly hang out together, don’t care much for studying, and are still the teachers' favorites. And the vanilla, she writes the most beautiful poems far and wide.

So, it's a funny little group of students that has come together. There are talents galore here, and it could be so nice to be together... But unfortunately, there are also the citrus notes. Oh dear. They sneak around the school grounds in a pack and cause havoc. It’s enough to drive you to despair! Bicycle tires are slashed, notebooks are smeared, legs are tripped, and toilets are clogged. No, it’s not fun with this gang!

The citrus notes have been picking on the mandarin from the very beginning. She hardly dares to leave the house anymore. They constantly interfere with the jasmine and thwart his plans. They sing deliberately out of tune and turn the orange blossom's singing into a dreadful cat concert. They knock over the rose, who is doing a headstand, and completely throw her off during the recitation of the Rosaceae. They tell the tuberose deliberately false facts to confuse her, and they steal the sports shoes from ylang-ylang. The woody notes get reported to the teachers, and they laugh at the vanilla while she recites her poems.

That's pretty much how I feel about J'adore EdT. When I spray it, an alcohol cloud immediately stings my nose, and it stubbornly refuses to disappear for several minutes. This is something I absolutely dislike in fragrances. The citrus note remains dominant for practically the entire duration of the scent on me. This prevents the fragrance from "snuggling" into my skin. Sure, it’s not a gourmand, but rather something for the warm season. Still, I expect a fragrance to develop and gain a certain depth. Unfortunately, that is absolutely not the case (at least for me). Additionally, the EdT has a consistently synthetic note on my skin.

Well, maybe it's my skin chemistry that keeps the scent so flat on me. Or perhaps I just tested it in the wrong season. Nevertheless: I will probably find my J'adore favorite somewhere between J'adore l'Or and J'adore Voile de Parfum. I’ll go settle things on the playground now...

Even though I don't really like to use the word: this is a total crowd-pleaser.
That's why it's so popular as a gift, because hardly anyone turns it down.

A slightly lighter version of the classic. Is it necessary? Only if you don't have the EdP.

Very beautiful floral scent, sweeter than fresh, best suited for evenings. Lively and cheerful with mandarin, jasmine takes the lead.

Since I hate this note, I can spot it everywhere: aquatic notes. Ugh, they're even mixed in here to fake freshness.

Clean, lovely floral notes on an appealing, subtly spicy hairspray musk. Minimally green. Understated, adult elegance. All-day wear.

Unfortunately, Dior's J'Adore didn't match my taste at all.
Very aquatic, sharp, synthetic. A must wash off.

Insignificant scent, very synthetic, seems like a lot of Ambroxan. Aquatic, overwhelming artificial floral notes, little base, not very consistent & longevity.

Delicate creamy note. You also catch a hint of floral. Very lovely and understated.

Totally reminds me of cleaning products... probably because of the strong soap component. I should clean the windows again.....

Pungent in the nose and a risk of acute headaches... is that adorable? I don't think so.
