Super interesting fragrance, where I understand on the one hand, but on the other hand do not understand at all how the ratings come about - if that makes sense.
The fragrance opens very fresh, one perceives, as in the male counterpart (at least in previous batches), fruity, but also somewhat tart notes, although second-named here is not so dominant. Woods also definitely prominent. A somewhat sober description, which I would like to give this fragrance, however, is "rough". I have read here in the statements already "scratchy", which I can also understand, yet I find the word rough more appropriate.

Is that now good or bad?

Well, hard to say. However, I find that this fragrance is anything but strictly feminine. Really, it isn't. Precisely because of this connection, I understand very well that this results in, probably predominantly from ladies given, rather average ratings. Does not mean that I can not imagine him on a woman, by no means, but unisex is this fragrance times at least - and I find him great.
In fact, I would personally classify this fragrance even more masculine. Have him the other day at a gentleman smelled and not only I, but also other people, were strikingly enthusiastic. And here we come to the part that I do not understand in the reviews. Durability and especially sillage. Durability seems super to me, but I've rarely experienced a fragrance that projects like Aventus for her. Room filling is the only thing I can think of here. Whether that in turn is now good or bad, everyone can decide for themselves - but what can be said is that a person who does not like this fragrance will have a hard time next to the wearer or the wearer!:)

Conclusion: I can understand that people do not like this fragrance, but I find it very successful. Durability and especially sillage I can only give absolute top ratings.

A cold winter evening. I walk down the quiet street lit by the golden glow of the streetlights. In the houses around me you can see bright lights shining, warm and inviting - a beautiful scenery.

But my attention is suddenly magically drawn to something else.

Suddenly, and without warning, a surge of warm chocolate comes towards me, spreading wide its warm, dark and powerful arms and enveloping me - carefully, without frightening me, yet so engaging that I stop, spellbound.

Once in her warm embrace, a sweet and fruity orange emerges from behind the dark warm chocolate. She greets me briefly, but then rejoins me behind the chocolate.
Both form a beautiful ensemble and mix to a surge of warmth and security, which comes towards me, surrounds me, but does not crush me.

The beautiful ensemble triggers childhood feelings in me over time, the longer it surrounds me. All of a sudden I feel like I'm at a Christmas market or a fair, I smell roasted almonds and feel the childlike ecstasy I used to feel at these moments.

I go round and round on my olfactory merry-go-round as my two companions, the chocolate and the increasingly shy orange, ride with me.

Slowly, I notice the quiet street around me again. How long did my ride, did this hug last? I have lost all sense of time.

As I continue to walk down the street, I keep feeling the warm embrace of my two faithful companions. The embrace is subtle and not always firm, sometimes it is quite gentle and barely noticeable and the next moment I feel myself embraced by them both more strongly.

Long since arrived back home, while I make myself a steaming cup of tea and sit down by the fireplace, I can still feel and smell my two companions, who have gone with me on a little olfactory journey since spraying on my perfume and now slowly, after several hours say goodbye and retreat.

And although they have spent the whole day with me and now slowly begin the retreat I am sure that I will perceive them for quite some time, feel their warm embrace and reminisce.

You walk through the empty corridor of a hotel. Silence. Enveloping darkness dominates the atmosphere of the old building - yet you feel at ease. Slowly, your encounter moves and you receive a signal that your actual path ends here and a new one has been designated for you. You have no idea if you even want what is happening here. Yet you have no choice. You follow a veil of dark, hidden scent chords with this...this something. The one you can't describe and have never, ever smelled. You enter the room. In absolute abstinence from words the person turns to you. As if pulled by an invisible rope you walk towards each other. You can no longer assign a feeling. The closer she comes, the more profoundly your senses are stimulated. You see something that you desire without being aware of it. You feel the touch of her hand, which slowly takes yours. You hear - nothing. And you smell an overwhelming wall of mystery. Yes, there is that flower, it could be an orchid, but where does that depth come from? A wave of vanilla, which had already built up unseen before you hits. A front of woods builds mercilessly before you, making even the last ray of light seem even darker. Various floral scents mingle and sweep through the room like a whirlwind. And there is something else. Something that is as strange as it is seductive, that stands above everything else and dominates all the chords that are played back to you. Minutes pass. You want more to happen, but you are too paralyzed to have any will of your own. What is happening right now is overwhelming and not to be classified at all. You want it to happen just like this - but without knowing that you want it. You want your apathy to go away - but don't want it to end.
The person smiles at you and your paralysis becomes even more severe. She turns and walks to another door of the room, which you didn't even notice until now. She turns around once more, looks deeply into your eyes, and then leaves you alone.
What was that? You have never, but really never experienced something like that. After a few seconds of shock, only one thing comes to your mind. After him! You rush into the hallway where you saw her leave. Nothing. Emptiness. Silence. But that smell. It's still there

Often I have heard about you, dozens of times I have walked past you in the perfumery, yes, even I have smelled you several times and yet it took until we became friends and lovers.
Meanwhile I ask myself: why did I not see the potential in you right away?

All I can say is, I am more than happy to have reapplied you during another stroll to the perfumery and fell in love - and so right.

At first, you may smell unassuming and plain pleasant to many noses, including my own. But those who get to know you better will come to appreciate your incredible beauty.

You are wonderfully creamy, but without becoming heavy, smells gently of coconut, but even that not too intrusive.
You are so wonderfully balanced in your freshness, softness, creaminess and the floral note, that one can not get fed up with you.
You accompany me after applying the whole day and do not soften from my side, without being too intrusive, but at the same time you are not to be overlooked.
When you surround me I feel good, fresh, awakened and beautiful.

Once with you I never want to be without you again, because I think I will never get enough of you!

I try to put my thoughts about this fragrance into words.

At the first sensory reception of this popular fragrance in a boutique, I remember that I was not really swept off my feet. Sure, it was pleasant, but just not much more. However, my then still very inexperienced expectation of perfumes demanded exactly this tear from the chair - something that makes me say, "Wow, that smells incredible!".
After some time had passed, however, it gradually occurred to me that it is actually a very desirable thing to smell pleasant. Does it always have to be the unmistakable, (at least stereotypically) seductive fragrance explosion, where you hope that the people around you turn over in rows?
It was precisely these considerations that made me test Prada L'Homme once again. And I quickly realized that this fragrance is incredibly unique in its own way! It makes the wearer do just that - smell very pleasant.
A very fresh opening followed by a fantastic iris note turns into a soapy, unspeakably pleasant, non-offensive, indeed beautiful fragrance in the drydown for anyone who may perceive it.
I use with the terms "pleasant" and "beautiful" deliberately quite broad words, since this fragrance also does nothing (in the strict sense) special - But what he does, he does incredibly well. And that makes him so special!

In my opinion, this fragrance is suitable for any occasion. Clearly, also for's office, as he is described almost already in generic way, but also simply to feel good at home - whether alone or in togetherness - when going to town or to drink coffee in the afternoon. This fragrance will always do its job with flying colors. He conveys cleanliness, attentiveness and a casual well-groomed, masculine appearance.

Finally, to address the usual criteria - The fragrance itself I can only give full marks. For me, he is in his category in the men's fragrances unsurpassed.
Sillage and durability are, however, in my experience a small problem. Fortunately, you can overspray the fragrance almost without hesitation a little - Only that should not really be the goal. Therefore, there are relatively clear deductions here.
