Exactly like the famous Bum Bum cream!

Mmmh, this smells just as delicious as the Bum Bum cream from the same brand. I've been a fan of the scent for years and always wanted a matching perfume, but it took me a while to get a decant and test Cheirosa '62. I've never seen the perfume in store, only the body mist. And after I finally tried the EDP, it was sold out in every online store in Europe. Luckily I was able to find a partly used bottle and bought it immediately. And now it seems to be available again.

Before this I had tried Praliné au Caramel by Kyse, which is a close dupe, but a bit heavier than the Sol de Janeiro products and not 100% what I wanted.
Cheirosa '62 really is the perfect match, the only difference to my nose is that the opening is heavier on the pistachio than the cream, and I actually prefer that. The rest is the same. It does smell a bit 'lotion-y' in the drydown, but I don't mind cause it's such a heavenly creamy scent. And it lasts fine on me.

If you have never tried anything from this line, this is a sweet, beachy scent of vanilla and salted caramel with a delicious roasted pistachio on top. This might sound heavy, but the scent is more summery than the notes suggest. There is definitely an unlisted fruit note in this, but I can't name a specific fruit. The subtle addition of jasmine also makes the scent a little airier.
It's not hugely complex, but uplifting and confidence-boosting, and it was something new when the cream first came out. The pistachio and caramel just work in combination with the beachy vibe.

Great one to get

I feel like I’m in the minority here when it comes to this perfume, I think getting it is worth it. It lasts and projects more than the body mist, I only like to use the mist on my hair because that’s where it only lasts the day for me. Also it’s kinda weird but the full bottle and travel spray smell like the cream exactly but in different ways, what I mean by that is that the cream smells more fresh and nutty in the warm weather for me and very caramel and vanilla heavy in the cold weather. The full size smells like when I wear the cream in the cold and the travel smells like when I wear it in the warm weather, kinda weird lol

A nutty gourmand perfume!

This is the fragrance that started my journey into this amazing hobby that is perfume. At first, I owned the Bum Bum cream and the hair mist. When I realized there was a perfume version of this amazing cream I loved to spray and slather on my body, I went for it. I've read the reviews that say the body mist lasts longer than this fragrance, but for me it's the opposite (RIP my wallet).

It's such a nice, warm, comforting fragrance for me. The top notes are nutty with a powdery almond and a soft pistachio bite. It's one of the rare fragrance where the powdery accord makes sense and where I don't dislike it. The flowers are quite faint in this juice although I have the impression that they're in the background to keep everything from becoming too sickly sweet. The vanilla and caramel don't wait long before appearing. The salt notes keep this fragrance from becoming too cloying. The drydown becomes this amazing luxurious caramel and vanilla scent and the sandalwood gives off this creamy comfy feeling.

I know this fragrance is marketed as being a beach perfume, but I don't see it like that. To me, it's a comforting nutty, vanilla and caramel scent perfect for cold weather but also for warmer days. My skin seems to love it because the longevity on me is amazing. You can also layer it with the cream and/or the mist to give it that extra oomph and lasting power. It'll always have a special place in my heart.

I smell coconut

I think this perfume plays mine games with me. I honestly smell coconut, and I don’t know if it’s because of the name of the perfume, which brings up summer vacations to Rio de Janeiro, or perhaps the beautiful bright yellow sunny bottle. There is no coconut to be found in the scent notes. Whatever it is, it honestly smells like a vacation in a bottle.
My husband really likes when I wear this perfume and follows the trail to wherever I am in the house just to smell my neck. I would say it’s a big hit, although I don’t wear it a whole lot. It’s beautiful.
Both sillage and longevity are good. The salted caramel gives it a nice sweetness, similar to a waffle cone baked fresh at Kilwins. Quite delicious!
I do not pick up heliotrope or jasmine in this perfume. Definitely vanilla! And very light sandalwood.
If you ever have a chance to sample this one, definitely do!
