The story of Leylâ and Mecnun wonderfully interpreted
It is a great pleasure for me to write the first review of this wonderful fragrance.
In short: lovers of Dior's Oud Ispahan will not want to miss this fragrance!
The parallels are there, but Junoon has much more complexity and is, in my opinion, the much more pleasing fragrance.
With Junoon we have a fragrance that interprets the love story of Leylâ and Mecnun phenomenally! This story is an oriental love story of the man Qais and his beloved Leylâ. Despite the two lovers, the story does not have a happy ending. (Warmest recommendation here at this point.).
However, Junoon is different, giving me a good feeling from beginning to end. You can literally feel how the love and passion of two lovers has been thematized here. This fragrance is a prime example of a unisex fragrance. While tuberose, tonka, vanilla and rose reflect the feminine part, lavender, labdanum, oud and saffron are the masculine part.
I also find the addition of sage and the previously mentioned lavender note exciting. This gives the fragrance subtle ethereal, fougère-like notes. The oud adds the finishing touch to the labdanum and the rose and is not overpowering or thick in the air. The vanilla, tonka and patch base is also sweet and, above all, finely balanced.
While Oud Ispahan remains linear (which is not really a bad thing), Junoon develops into a silk scarf full of comfort and allows us to immerse ourselves in the olfactory pleasure brought to us by none other than Hamid-Merati Kashani. ( Chapéu at this point!)
If you want to smell like an oriental dream without compromising on pleasantness, Junoon is the perfect choice.

Fruity, boozy, spicy and wonderfully aromatic - pure pleasure!
With Cherry X, Kai Porten and Mark Buxton have created a really beautiful cherry fragrance! I personally think that this fragrance has a remarkable character and that everything else smells generic. All the more reason why I find it extremely unfortunate that this great fragrance is being judged so controversially. I would like to appeal to everyone to evaluate the fragrance as such and to leave personal opinions about Kai Porten as a person (whether positive or negative) out of the equation.
What can we expect with Cherry X?
Anyone expecting a lost cherry here is wrong. We have a really nice invigorating start here, which comes together through the interplay of cherry and raspberry. The eponymous cherry is the main player here and this is not squeaky-sweet, but very boozy and pleasing.
What I personally like is that the top note is beautifully accompanied by davana. This makes the start look very classy and promises us an exciting, complex fragrance right from the start.
The transition to the heart notes is very fluid and in no way creates an unpleasant plot twist. I particularly notice the almond note here. I must also praise Mr. Buxton's craftsmanship here. The other (especially spicy) heart notes are very finely interwoven and despite the many notes, you notice that everything is very well balanced and rounded!
My personal highlight of this fragrance is the moment when the base notes are really perceived. Delicious tonka absolute paired with great amber and a fine vanilla note is my Achilles' heel. Musk also lends the familiar creamy touch. And all this together with the cherry - what more could you want? I perceive styrax, oud, patchouli and incense more in the second row, but I think that these notes definitely give this creation the final perfect touch.
Cherry X performs much better than the aforementioned Lost Cherry. it definitely lasts 8 hours on my skin. I tend to see this fragrance on a man, but women can of course also wear it. I am not the type of person who receives many compliments for the fragrance I wear, but I have already received 2 positive reactions to it in a very short time, which speaks for itself in terms of pleasantness.
I can only advise everyone here to try this fragrance!

I wouldn't want to miss you. One of the best releases in 2023!
When I smelled you for the first time at Esxence, I was confused. The bottles are absolute eye-catchers and arouse curiosity, yet I asked myself the question: What is this? The potential of this brand's fragrances is huge and brings more than just a breath of fresh air.
As fate would have it, I had a second encounter months later, which I am more than happy and grateful about afterwards. Because here I was able to smell the fragrance again, unfiltered by all the impressions from the trade fair, and I am still more than just taken with Sacred Bond.
Sacred Bond is a linear but not boring sweet, fruity and floral fragrance that stands out with a soft raspberry, delicate gardenia and delicious caramel.
If you want to do something nice to your nose, you should definitely smell this masterpiece!

Better than the role model?
Again, I'm really happy to be able to write the first review. :)
Let's not kid ourselves, roughly speaking there are more than just parallels to Xerjoff's Accento.
BUT: The differences here are more in the details and these make the Accento Viola (spoiler alert) the clear favorite for me.
Gentle hyacinth tickles our nose at the first spray. Exciting and the difference here is the juicy pineapple which quickly takes over. This one is a little more fruity and, in my opinion, also a little more "citrusy". Almost a nice upgrade!
Floral notes take their place and here, too, the difference is in the details. The finely interwoven nature of iris and jasmine make the fragrance less edgy for me personally.
As it progresses, it becomes softer, almost delicate and much rounder like its brother.
Anyone looking for a softer, yet more potent and slightly fruitier Accento is in good hands with this candidate.
An absolute crowd-pleasing fragrance that will not offend many and is definitely an upgrade for me.

WOW! What a remarkable fragrance.
First of all: It is a special pleasure for me to write the very first review of a fragrance. :)
Basso - you are definitely something else. People may associate other fragrances with you, but that won't bother you or me. Because no one can match your sophistication and quality. You immediately cast a spell over me with your manner. If you had to describe you in 3 key words, for me it would be: citrusy, spicy and woody.
You are finely tuned and really round. You are good! You don't shout but you make yourself clearly noticeable. It's not without reason that I've often been approached by you. Your longevity on my skin is enough for a working day. I don't know how Maestro Provenzano did it, but your citric is really long-lasting.
Nice that you exist!
