Underrated
Yes, even though Jardin Boheme is essentially the "affordable" house brand of Douglas, I still find their fragrances to be quite underrated. Mandarine Fatale, for example, is simply a beautiful, citrus-sweet scent that quickly became my favorite summer fragrance. Here, you get perfumes for little money that can absolutely hold their own.

The Name Says It All
Anyone who generally likes Oud will surely find a fresh change here. Personally, I find it a bit too intense. The green notes provide an exciting touch that makes the perfume quite wearable for summer. However, I would probably recommend trying a small sample first, as it was a bit too intense for me, even though I like Oud.
Cheapest vacation ever
Alright, this is my first review. Usually I didn't intend to get very active on parfumo but I cannot help but write about this amazing perfume.
Just to let you know, I am not that long into fragrances, maybe half a year, and this is approx. my 10th perfume so my knowledge is limited. But at least for the past six months I worked myself as hard as I could into everything that is to know and I'd say I know as much as possible after six months haha.
So back to French Riviera.
When I started going into perfumes I was looking for sweet scents that work good at night for partying etc. Then spring and sunshine came and I realized that the 5-6 perfumes that I owned don't suit this season very well so I started looking for citrusy, fresh, aquatic fragrances. After a few weeks I found some nice ones (Versace - Eau Fraiche, Nishane - Ege (also amazing) and Jardin Boheme - Mandarine Fatale) but still I was looking for the (!!) summer fragrance. Somehow I read about Mancera, I liked their bottle designs a lot, had a few in my short list and then bought one sample of Lemon Line and one of French Riviera.
Lemon Line soon became one of my favourites as well but French Riviera just blew me away.
First time I sprayed it I was immediately in the Mediterannean region, the sun was setting, I felt the sand between my toes and somehow also felt the relaxation of a Mediterannean vacation. It was then when I realized how much the olfactory senses relate to my mood and my feelings. I always knew that smell has quite an impact on what we feel and how we feel but I never experienced it to that extend. I instantly knew that this is my new favourite perfume and that this will stick with me for a long time.
The next day I was even more surprised since I woke up to the same scent and still was in vacation, at least in my head. It lasts soo long, especially on clothes that I could smell it the next day just from my shirt that was lying next to my bed. But in no unpleasant way at all. It still had that nice salty/suncreen scent and I fell in love a bit more.
This perfume is wonderful and for me the ultimate summer fragrance.
I doubt that I soon find one that can catch up to this one, at least when it comes to summer fragrances.
It is simply vacation in a bottle.
PS: I am already planning on using in in wintertime when I'm at home and winter depression kicks and am convinced that it will pull me out of the dark winter times and lift my senses every now and then when it's necessary. Maybe I'll report if that works haha.
