Bitter sweet tooth
Feve is sharp and itchy due to bitter tonka. Sometimes I feel, the creator was rushing or just having a bad day and forgetting to smooth the perfume out. You must be lucky to spot a day when Feve doesnt hurt. You dont bite delicious pralines but Feve bites you instead. I like the concept but this is nowhere near to a lush creamy gourmand scent. Maybe Maison version?
It is the same struggle as itchy Eau Noire.

Pale start, dark finish
There is something very light in the background, something orange and spicy but so weak. And then white musk? It smells silky pure. It would be actually a perfect perfume if they made it at least twice stronger by adding more spicy orange. There is something intriguing inside. Something likeable. What a shame! Maybe it was meant to be blended like that but call it Maison not Privee then. You know why...

30 mins later on and the new element is coming in place. Flowers but not necessarily roses. White musk and spicy orange turn them into slightly dirty tones. Now I understand why the perfume is called Noire.

La colle noire = black glue

colle = paste [noun] a soft, damp mixture, especially one made up of glue and water and used for sticking pieces of paper etc together.

Pleasant and inoffensive only
Blind purchased Guerlain Neroli Outrenoir recently. Not a bad but too nostalgic and dark scent for my liking.
The Cachemire is a fresh happy sweet juicy green/yellow tea. No Earl Grey at all.
Not unique but a joyful summer fragrance once you have it. It gives you a happy morning kick for the first hour. No need to purchase though unless you are Dior collector.

A smell of Russian lady having a night out
Old dark red rose & dusty leather dived in sugary water. I cannot smell patchouli.
Imagine a combination of sweet, aquatic, floral, warm, dusty (not sweaty).
Suits ladies in formal dresses. It is an evening scent. Goes sweet more and more in time but not loud. This is a very well done designer fragrance blended in a niche lab.

Review of Privee Gris Montaigne from 2015 not Maison one.

Straight to your brain
Extremely aromatic dark rose, very heady but who made a better rose&oud fusion out there? This is pure dominatrix in the bottle. Ispahan is a city in Iran and they actually harvest roses over there. The skanky oud could represent a danger behind huge plain stones on dusty roads? Or is it a sweat from a tired Iranian harvesting roses after long and sunny day?
