The fragrance opens like a warm breath from a bakery in the late evening. The cognac note immediately stands out, reminiscent of a freshly opened wooden barrel cellar. It feels deep, warm, and inviting. Cinnamon and vanilla layer over it, giving the scent a sweet spiciness that evokes caramelized sugar and warm desserts, without ever feeling sticky.

Over time, the wood becomes more prominent. Oak and sandalwood bring calmness to the composition. They give the fragrance weight and make it feel more mature. The tonka bean connects the sweet and woody notes, almost as if it fills and smooths the spaces between the notes.

On the skin, Angels Share lasts a long time. In the first hours, it radiates clearly into the room. After that, it draws a bit closer to the skin but remains distinctly perceptible. Especially in the cold, it shows its strength. The warmth of the fragrance then feels almost like a gentle coat wrapped around the shoulders.

What a piece. Unbelievable scent. Probably the best summer fragrance there is (or at least one of the best) and the best I have ever smelled for warm, sunny days. What does it smell like? Freshness and citrus are definitely at the forefront. It reminds me a lot of the association with a warm summer in Italy.

In my opinion, a very successful fragrance, but I wouldn't recommend it for teenagers or younger people. It's the quintessential men's scent. Price-wise, it's certainly expensive. However, the longevity is incredible, and it is an oud fragrance. Everyone should try it at least once. The bottle is, as expected from Xerjoff, top-notch.
