Overhyped WC room freshener
First of all, I like M. Gebauer! I watch his YT videos from time to time and find him very likeable. I waited a long time until I was able to test the "Orange Flamingo | Marc Gebauer". I was about to blindly buy it last summer, it was so hyped here and on social media in general. Every now and then I also read negative things, but the hype clearly outweighs the negative.
As for the fragrance, I think it has strong "toilet room fragrance vibes" right from the start. We have a Febreez air freshener at work and I could swear it smells almost exactly the same. My wife said that many room fragrances or air fresheners probably use jasmine/lily of the valley? I don't know, but that was too strong for me.
After about 30 minutes, the toilet air association fades somewhat but doesn't disappear.
I am a little disappointed because I really like and appreciate Marc, I will try the fragrance again another time. Maybe wear it in summer, maybe I'll like it more then (:

After I was so disappointed with the durability of a newly purchased Layton, I bought the Detour Noir
I liked it straight away. We don't have to talk about the price 1/10 of the original. The durability is better and the scent is almost 1:1 the same in my opinion. You have to smell it very carefully to notice a difference.
The biggest difference lies in the top note and the synthetics. The original Layton naturally smells much more natural and has more complexity and depth. However, as Layton is not one of the most complex fragrances I know, I can do without it.
The Detour Noir replicates the most essential fragrance components quite well.
I have sold my Layton. I have turned my back on PdM Layton because they reformulate for such a high price. Nobody really needs to be surprised that you then fall back on a dupe.

Madness
The opening is awesome. Resinous/leathery and rough. As it progresses, everything becomes smooth and you can smell an incredibly beautiful leather. The durability and silage are typical Matiere Premier absolutely TOP!
No matter which fragrance from the brand, H/S is always convincing. Everyone has to come to terms with the fragrances themselves. But you can't say anything against H/S.
The Falcon Leather is one of my favorites from the company and is also one of my favorites in general.
For me, the leather scent is currently not comparable to any other I know.
Fragrance progression is not so complex rather linear but very good.
Every leather fan must have smelled it!
