What happened here?
Initially an incredibly great and fresh fragrance. Opening with a slightly over-excited lemon with a transition to a light, beautiful woody sweetness. Leather could only be guessed at. Now, after about 6 months, it's just intense smoke with burnt leather and lemon in between. I don't know where the smoke is coming from so I remain really confused. If anyone has had similar experiences, please post a comment below. I have also not exposed the fragrance to high heat or intense light.

A versatile all-rounder!
Mhmmm I have fallen in love...
You spray on the fragrance and immediately smell the sea.
It gave me beach vibes straight away, but it doesn't stop there!
After 20 minutes, a pleasant woody and honey note emerges.
The three components harmonize perfectly together.
The fragrance is versatile and can be worn for any occasion.
Be it at work, in a casual look or even in a suit at a wedding. It doesn't matter!
Is it a summer fragrance?
YES! but could you also wear the fragrance in fall, winter or spring?
ABSOLUTELY!
The 40knots is the perfect all-rounder and a signature fragrance!

Enlightenment, or disappointment?
I don't want to say too much about this fragrance. I had a dupe and thought to myself "great, tobacco and vanilla will be fine". The dupe has a slightly more intense tobacco scent, which I think is great, but is far too sweet on the whole, so I wanted to try the original, which is supposed to be less sweet. And it is! Less sweet, more gingerbread, less tobacco, more spices. And actually, it just smells like Christmas to me and I don't really like fragrances like this as a perfume. I don't like smelling like Christmas baking. In this case, the fragrance really smells almost too authentic and too natural to me. That's great in itself, but not with this kind of gourmand.

Naxos without tobacco and with praline instead?
Think I'm crazy, but at the first spray, I immediately thought of Naxos! But an extremely sweet Naxos, without the tobacco. I suspect this is due to the orange blossom, cinnamon and bergamot opening, which is already similar to Naxos. I even briefly thought to myself, wow, I might even like this more than Naxos. But a few minutes later, it became so sweet and the Naxos association was gone. What we have here is a gourmand with an enormous chocolaty sweetness. A colleague applied it to go out and used 4 sprays. He was nauseous the whole evening and the man actually loves sweet fragrances. It's definitely too much of a good thing for me and I also find the DNA rather lame and uncreative. Definitely one of the worse PDMs. No chance against Herod or Layton Exclusif. So if you can try it out, do so, but never buy blindly and don't order more than 5 ml.

The king of the sandalwood game
This fragrance really is a milestone of pleasantness. I can't imagine anyone who doesn't like it. A citrusy fresh opening, paired with a light sweetness, edged with a slightly tart, green touch and underpinned with a soft, creamy and magnificently orchestrated sandalwood accord. All in all, this fragrance is incredibly natural and you can smell the high-quality raw materials immediately. You can also smell each ingredient separately, which is something I really appreciate in fragrances. I am really very convinced by this fragrance, I currently only have one bottling, but the potential is there that this will become my sandalwood fragrance and my Ojar Wood Whisper will have to go for it.
