Ein richtig angenehmer, feiner & luxuriöser Wohlfühlduft.
Mega Komplimente Magnet für die kälteren Tage mit guter Haltbarkeit.

Süß, Holzig, mit Pflaume im Verlauf dann etwas Vanille

Meiner Meinung nach viel zu unbekannt dafür wie schön dieser Duft eigentlich ist. Aber dadurch natürlich gut, für die die ihn kennen. :)

Sylt - Perfume - Wonder

After a long time, here’s another review from me… just a heads up: Please don’t expect a eloquent, totally professional scent description like from an expert!

So there I was… once again on Sylt. But now I have been enthusiastic about fragrances for a while and had the opportunity to cross off and test a few scents from my list in a perfumery.

First, I was of course at the Xerjoff bottles, then at other houses like Montale, Terenzi, etc.

After a long testing session and two days gone by, I was back and ready to get down to business.
In conversation with a lovely staff member, I came across Ojar. I had never heard of this house before - so I was unbiased and open to surprises!

The first fragrances were Infusion Velours and Epice du Desert, which were great, but didn’t blow me away.
After an hour in the fresh air, I was ready for the “second course”.
And there it was - standing out in green next to the blue and red bottles.
I cautiously sprayed Wood Whisper on a paper strip, unsuspecting, and after a few minutes… nothing.
No surprise, no conviction, just a scent on paper.
That couldn’t be!
Contrary to the paper test, I took the bottle in hand again and applied it to my wrist.

That was the wow moment. The top note was heavenly, fruity, soft on the skin. Like a veil, it crept along my arm into my nose and astonished me.
Since top notes are known to deceive, I took my time, walked through the city, and let minutes pass while I sniffed my wrist like a madman. I couldn’t get enough.
The scent reminded me of so much!
Somehow it was fruity - at first. After a few minutes, the fruitiness was caught by vanilla and turned into pure creaminess!
As if Initio and Frederic Malle (fragrance houses whose DNA often becomes creamy-sweet for me) had created a child.
Between sacred beds in a palace and plums next to rose bushes in fruit baskets, one warms a vanilla cream for dessert.
The scent exudes luxury, benevolent luxury. Holiness and brightness, sun and good mood as well as white-cold winter days with warm fruit tea, embedded in vanilla!
Musk, vanilla, and sandalwood harmonize perfectly like in a piece of music and create an everlasting experience.

Of course, there are also downsides.
While I praise the scent highly - one must point out everything.
The longevity and sillage leave something to be desired.
I tend to be the type who prefers to spray his fragrances a little too much rather than too little. Nevertheless, this is probably a scent that isn’t made to be opulent and fluffy. But a little more wouldn’t hurt!

A plus, however, is the price.
200€ for 100ml is a fair offer in the niche segment, and the story of the fragrances is just as interesting!

In general, this fragrance house is definitely worth a test, and if one of the fragrances were a blind buy candidate, it would be Wood Whisper. If you’re into creaminess.
The price is justified, and H/S are average, which is completely sufficient.
The scent can be wonderfully worn in any season!

I am excited to integrate this scent into my collection and can wholeheartedly recommend a test to everyone!

The Soft Whisper

I have to dedicate a review to this fragrance; it is so incredibly beautiful.
The scent actually begins for me with the woods, but they are by no means intrusive or overwhelming, rather they are delicately woven with the plum and the rose.
As the fragrance dries down, it becomes even creamier and sweeter due to the vanilla.
The woods still play a role throughout the entire scent journey, even if they are more of a whisper.
For me, the fragrance is unisex, but it leans more towards the feminine.
The scent feels like silk on my skin; I am in love.

Insider Tip

An insider tip that not everyone is aware of. For me, it starts sweet, but after 10 to 15 minutes, it becomes a clean, creamy scent. I really like it and don't understand why no one talks about it. But maybe that's for the best, so it remains a treasure for those in the know.

It is easily wearable for both men and women. It gives me a very well-groomed impression. The scent is very rounded.
Even though the fragrance is called "Wood Whisper," I can't detect the woodiness.
For me, the scent is something very special, and I enjoy wearing it for all sorts of occasions.

Certainly, it can also be layered very well, like all fragrances from the house of Ojar.

The sillage and longevity leave something to be desired. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't last long on me, even though I enjoy wearing it very much.
The house of Ojar also sells oils. So, if longevity is important to you, you might want to try the oils.

When I apply it, I feel as if I am diving into a quiet, untouched forest. This scent is not a loud call but a soft whisper that draws me in.
