I just realized that I have had a sample of Luna Rossa Black in my drawer for at least 2 years. Apparently, it didn't appeal to me back then. Now, I happened to get a leftover sample in my fragrance mail as a little extra, and this time it really blows me away!

With a velvety-sweet, warm spiciness, it wraps itself around my wrist, and I can't seem to take my nose away from it. I actually thought I was perceiving something peppery, but I had to find out that pepper is not present in the fragrance notes at all. The warmth I feel from the scent surely comes from the coumarin, which I can associate very well with the memory of fragrant hay. I definitely perceive it as "edgy" yet somehow soft... for me as a non-binary person, it's the perfect blend. The longevity is probably not that pronounced. I've had it on my wrist for about 3 hours now, and up close it's still quite noticeable, but at a distance of 1-2 meters, certainly not anymore.

In any case, I'm really excited that I can now enjoy 2 half-full samples of it!

Here too, after reading some reviews, I imagined something completely different. In the opening, the OSM enveloped me in a massive cloud of incense stick scent. I was correspondingly surprised, unfortunately not positively, as I really do not want to smell like an esoteric shop (even though I love such shops). The other surprise was the femininity of the fragrance. I prefer more masculine to unisex scents for myself. Since this one was classified as unisex, I thought it might fit. However, I perceive the scent as veeeery feminine and sophisticated. Not at all my style... unfortunately. The sillage is so strong that I had to wash it off (which only helped to some extent). So no one needs to worry about the longevity. ;-)

Great scent that has a very spicy-woody aroma and yet doesn't overwhelm anyone, making it absolutely suitable for everyday wear. The sillage is very good; you will definitely be noticed, and it can still be faintly detected the next morning. I found the bottle simple but beautiful. It's a pity that the reissue doesn't quite match this original here.

After reading a few reviews here, I imagined it quite differently, heavier above all. I find it unexpectedly fresh in the first few minutes. Only gradually does it settle on me and become a bit warmer and rounder. However, I can't really share the association with a Christmas market. Grapefruit and pepper are the most prominent for me, while I only perceive the cinnamon very faintly. I don't think it will become entirely my thing, although it's not bad...

Well, I am really anything but an expert in these matters. I can only marvel at all the nuances that others can pick up, and so far I have only known a few good fragrances.
Therefore, in my banality, I can’t say much more than: I like it or I don’t like it. For this fragrance here, I first only saw the advertisement - it felt like it was written/filmed from my soul, so I thought "oh please let this fragrance suit me and please me" and lo and behold, both wishes have come true. I find it brilliant. To my nose, the scent is spicy/woody and slightly sweet, with a fresh note. Definitely something special. And the most important thing: it is damn well wearable for me as a gender-fluid person. And indeed, I have never received so many fragrance compliments as I have for this one! So - it fits perfectly. Mine! :)
