So, to start with, I ordered a small sample based on recommendations. It was said to be sweet and strawberry-like. Upon the first spray, I was immediately hit by an overwhelming 'standard perfume smell' that I could hardly get out of my sinuses. It’s one of those scents that just doesn’t smell like anything, only like alcoholic perfume. After about 10 minutes, that fades away, at least unless you go directly in for another sniff. And yes, then I slowly start to pick up a bit of that strawberry with cream, somewhere very faintly and gently, one could indeed imagine that. Well, it could of course be that my sample is already going off. Or I simply lack the right receptors for this perfume. In any case, it’s definitely not my thing.

I find the scent super - however, it's not really for me. The fragrance starts off a bit too heavy and bitter for my taste, with a lot of Oriental spices and musk. These mellow out after about 30 minutes, and after an hour, I mainly smell a very prominent sour cherry. I've never sniffed a perfume that smelled so distinctly like a freshly opened jar of sour cherries! I really like that, but I myself am more like the Amarena cherry, the sugar cherry on the cake that nobody likes. :) The longevity is really great, and the sillage is impressive, so I would wish for that in my super sweet fragrances! :)
Addendum: I have since become very fond of the scent, so I now like it on myself as well and can't find a sugar cherry that blows me away like this sour cherry does.

Who is this Lira that everyone is talking about? I don't know her. But I know the Madeleine!
I tested the good Madeleine based on recommendations through a sample. My associations: cake batter for lemon cake, delicious Madeleines, cheesecake. Wonderfully sweet and warm, a bit citrusy, a bit vanillic. A nice balance. Suitable for absolute sweet tooths. The longevity and sillage could be a bit better in my opinion, but I feel that way about almost all sweet gourmands that aren't full of oriental spices. I think a good price/performance ratio is already given here.

Addendum: I have now gotten to know Lira. She is more lemony and fresher and, of course, has a better sillage/longevity for such a price as expected. Tendre Madeleine is a bit more pastry-like, cake batter-like. There is definitely a similarity that cannot be denied, but those who have fallen in love with Lira will never be completely satisfied by the Madeleine :D

The bottle contains a lot of gingerbread, and just by opening the sample, all sensations were suddenly tuned to Christmas. A pure December fragrance.
I hereby take my leave just to be safe, as this could be my last review - because I was overwhelmed by the cinnamon while testing Mogadess.

Due to the positive comments and because many described the presence of blueberry, I ordered a sample. Unfortunately, I can smell the blueberry for exactly about 30 seconds. After that, it’s just floral and that typical alcoholic perfume scent that reminds me of aftershave. Not sweet, rather fresh and floral. Of course, I can only speak for myself. I was hoping for a sweet-fruity gourmand.
