Ikea candle sinnlig.
After the first spray of Giardini di Toscana - Bianco Latte, I immediately thought: isn't that the candle I have at home, the Sinnlig from Ikea? I've been using these candles for years and know the scent inside out. The scent was almost identical, but with a pungent green, herbaceous note on my skin. At first I thought mint, but then I read about coumarin on Parfumo, which could also fit, but smelled more like mint to me. Too bad the Ikea candle smells even better in my opinion. Vanilla with mint? Not my cup of tea. Bianco Latte 0, Ikea candle 1. The hype remains incomprehensible to me. I don't want to smell like a room fragrance right now. I'll stick with the candles - for the same scent without the annoying green note. Let's move on! In search of my matching vanilla fragrance.

Memories of childhood, but not my scent
With the first spray of Guerlain's Spiriteuse Double Vanille, I immediately realized - a scent I have experienced many times, especially in Turkey. A familiar scent that my aunts and young women around me often wore. It didn't seem special to me, more like something I've smelled a thousand times on the streets of Turkey. Feminine, yes, but also a bit old-fashioned, a familiar but not particularly exciting scent. I would have liked more vanilla, something sweet, but this vanilla didn't strike me as the wonderful thing I was looking for.

It reminded me of sweet Turkish pastries soaked in black tea, a childhood memory that made me feel good. Unfortunately, I don't quite understand the hype surrounding this fragrance, as I personally would have expected a more intense and beautifully balanced vanilla - especially at this price. Nevertheless, the fragrance managed to take me back to my childhood. Interesting, but definitely not my vanilla fragrance. The search continues...

A masterpiece
Ex Nihilo was my first successful foray into the world of niche fragrances. When I sprayed the bottling on my skin, I was initially overcome with worry - too much musk, and I'm not a fan of musky perfumes, especially those by Narciso. After a while, I forgot I had even applied the fragrance. A subtle, captivating scent enveloped me, but where did it come from? Addictive and attractive - but what makes this fragrance so special?
Curiosity drove me to find out what makes this fragrance so irresistible and where it comes from. After about ten minutes, I remembered that I had tested the perfume and oh, how great can a fragrance be? This fragrance DNA turned out to be beguiling, elegant, feminine and seductive at the same time. To this day, I don't know what makes this fragrance so appealing. It is simply wonderful! I wore the 2ml bottle every day for a week and I was literally enchanted. Pining for a perfume - I had never experienced that before! An entry into the world of niche perfumes, a simply stunning wow. I fell in love and had to order a bottle immediately. I haven't regretted it since; this fragrance will always have a place in my future collection.
