vanilla cookie with a hint of wood
very popular for a reason!
to me, it smells like vanilla ice cream and cookies. a lot of people get caramel, but im not getting that. very much like a bakery.
it smells a bit musky, though. the woody base notes do come out, but it's not too overpowering for me. the gourmand notes drown it out just enough. It lasts all day, and it's good for layering. it smells way better on the skin than it does in the bottle.

Chocolate and vanilla realness. It's the ideal sweet gourmand scent without being too overpowering. It complements your skin very well.
If I had to go into specifics, it smells like a chocolate chip cookie. The initial spray is so alcoholic, but it dries down into this sweet vanilla, chocolate swirl.
Both last long, but the perfume roll-on oil is much more pleasant to me. I'd recommend getting that one if you don't want to wait for the spray to macerate (I know some don't believe in that, but this spray does smell better when you leave it in a cold room.)
my first
This was probably the first scent I ever fell in love with. This is what made me realize that I am a vanilla girl.
It smells like a woody, winter vanilla. Over the years, I've kinda waivered on if I smelled vanilla or cashmere more. My conclusion: the initial spray is woody cashmere, and the dry down is the sweet vanilla I love. I do get a hint of the amber and tea notes, but it's not overpowering.
I've gotten compliments every time I wear this scent, and I'll probably continue to purchase it. Of course, it is b&bw and they are known for their perfumes not lasting long. The body cream lasts longer than the perfume, but it does last a while!
SDJ's BEST vanilla scent.
This is the only vanilla SDJ has done right, IMO. It smells sweet, sexy, and summery.
I often use this to layer with other scents. The fruity and floral notes aren't overpowering like in most of SDJ's scents. You get all of the notes listed, but he vanilla truly shines here.
It's a scent that's easily buildable.

This is one of the only pure vanilla scents out there.
It smells like vanilla extract, with a hint of spice. If you know where to apply perfume, it lasts on the skin all day and sometimes to the next. It's lasting me a long time too, and I only have the travel size. A little goes a long way!
I get complimented on this all the time. Definitely a must-have for beginners in vanilla. It's good on its own, but it's great when layered as a base.
