EbichuuneeFor me orange is all year round fragrances, I actually like this note a lot, but I’m also specific about how it’s used, like I don’t want to smell like orange juice, more like orange zest !
For winter I would say
Orange x Santal a woody orange quite festive
And for summer I’m actually more of a lemon girl, but
Bel Oranger has recently triggered my interest, it’s like a fresh hug from an orange peel, really weird image I concede but somehow that’s how I perceived it ! It has woods also in the base notes so this is probably why I find it more cozy .
Those two a very orange-centered, and have woods to ground the fragrances, but chemically you cannot do much when notes inspired by agrumes are fleeting by nature, so often you will find more fragrance with oranges as a support notes like in :
Like This , a spicy orangey pumpkin fragrance perfect for autumn
Fleuve Tendre and
Âme du Cœur
Hope you find something to your liking !
Very curious about Like This, Fleuve Tendre and Orange x Santal, I'll try to see if I can find them somewhere near me. I definitely prefer the orange note to be more bitter and natural, instead of the more sweet juicy-like scents that are more common. Thanks!
