I will be traveling to Paris for work in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some lesser known niche or small perfume houses that I could get to know while there. Your input would be really appreciated.

You have seen my blog post so of course i would recommend you to go to Maison Jardin d'écrivains (15 Rue des Tournelles, 75004) ! But aside from this i have a soft spot for Maison Parfumeur et Gantier (5 Rue des Capucines, 75001) as my mom have been wearing their fragrance all my childhood. Otherwise there is big stores that you must have heard like Jovoy, nose, etc... They're not bad but they can get pretty crowded !
Thank you both! Yes, I've been to Jovoy and a lot of other ones that are well known, so now I'm hoping to experience something different.
Really appreciate you sharing with me.

oh and by the way for it's "Maitre parfumeur et gantier" and not "maison", I'm not sure you're a fan of ambery scent, but in my opinion they're the master of amber-based scent especially with : Ambre Tibet
Ambre Précieux but one of my favorite is
Grain de Plaisir and i'm dying of smelling
Camélia Chinois

I love ambers, so definitely want to try these. So, so grateful for these suggestions!💖
don't remember if i already suggested you, but in Paris there is a Vanille Havane Eau de Parfum store (don't know how to tag the entire brand 😅), there are many gems in this brand

Thanks! Read a few reviews on this that made me curious, so adding it to my Paris map. Grazie!
You already have some good suggestions above. Don’t forget the Jovoy perfumery. 4 Rue de Castiglione. Paris is a perfume paradise. Enjoy.

Yes, I've been to that store and my journey always starts there. My nose can't wait!😄
I second on Jardins d'écrivains and Histoires de parfum. i have yet to go to Maître parfumeur et gantier. Dover street market has a lot of brands https://www.doverstreetparfums... but I have never been there. (L'artIsan parfumeur, Nicolaï, Diptyque have several shops in the capital, and Fragonard too. But I think from an earlier post that you know them.) Try to speak French, don't let them answer you in English!

Thanks, @LouBe. I really appreciate when they answer me in English, tbh. I think it's easier for me, and if they can accept that my French is not up to par, I'm okay with it.

I have some travel coming up as well and I'm hoping to go try some of Croissant Café the brand Versatile, idk how to link a brand directly - they don't have stores of their own, but they have lots of points of sale around Paris.
More upscale, I'm hoping to go visit Pierre Guillaume.
