(Wild) Fennel Note

Ever since I spent  2 weeks in spring on Malta, where the scent of two meter tall wild fennel impressed me, I have been looking for a perfume that features (wild) fennel prominently. 

I have come across fennel as a background note a few times, but never as the star of a perfume. 

Does anyone have a suggestion for me?

I recently tested Rayon Vert which has a pretty strong fresh fennel note, although I don't know how different wild fennel is from the regular fennel 😅

Also, I haven't tested it yet myself but Cédrat Céruse seems to be all fennel, according to the reviews

"Rayon Vert" is more within my pice range at the moment (due to me starting over my professional life in my 30s) but I will put both on my try/blind buy list.
The reviews also indicate that we might have found one or even two matches.
Hurray for green scents that grow in the shade of what is usally called a "green scent"!

Seconding cedrat ceruse; i really liked how they presented the fennel!

Cédrat Céruse is a must try.

Wandervogel is a nice aquatic fennel.

Fantôme de la Nuit is also a great green forest floor option.

They are different both in shape, use and smell. Regular fennel is the one that grows that white bulb underground, it smells green, watery, light, fresh, it is the note you can find in Seahorse.

The wild fennel has no bulb, it grows tall (up to 3 meters) with a bamboo like trunk, small needle shape leaves and yellow flowers. The leaves smell aromatic, more intense than the regular fennel, have some rosmary like facets, green aromatic facets almost camphorated, very rich and complex smell (used in many italian recipes).

The flowers are another world again, their smell is spicey, clove, pepper and nutmeg nuances and it is crazy strong, once essiccated it is both more defusive and loud that black pepper, it is a super strong smell (used to cook strong flavours, like cow's liver ecc...), I'm very familiar with it because I gather it myself (there is a lot in one of my vegetable garden) and then I dry it to use it for cooking. When I keep it on the trays to let it dry the whole house is infested by its flavour, it is so strong that you can smell it from the street if the windows are open.

Unfortunately I don't know any, and to be honest it would be somehow "wierd" smell of cooked cow's liver or sea snails for me lol beacause for me the wild fennel it is an istant reminder of those dishes.

@NotAGoodidea Okay, have to chime in, too, because I didn't know wild fennel was different and didn't have the bulb. We have wild fennel growing everywhere (even the sides of roads) here and this whole time I thought they were the same and just grew taller because they weren't in a planter. 😆 Now I'm going to pay closer attention to the wild fennel when I see it next and compare. Interesting!  

I just came across a perfume with a wild fennel note listed! Cala Rossa ! I haven't tested it though
