Hello! Anyone who knows me knows I'm an ice cream fiend and I've been on the hunt for a hyperrealistic ice cream shop / waffle cone perfume for YEARS and to no avail... So I thought I'd throw my life raft to the experts here. I don't mind if the perfume has other fruity or gourmand notes, but the waffle cone is the most important element to me. Bonus points if It can capture the 'coldness' aspect of a creamery too! I'll include perfumes I've tried and why I feel they miss the mark, to avoid redundancy.
A Whiff of Waffle Cone (2020)
A Whiff of Waffle Cone (2023) - I love IA, but their brand DNA is too present in this perfume. To me, this smells more like a used bookstore with a vanilla candle burning in the corner. Yes, it's vanilla, but there's hardly any waffle cone. It smells more of wood chips to me.
Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 Eau de Parfum The pistachio note is a bit overwhelming, and again, no waffle cone scent detected.
Pear Gelato Where to begin. A bit too artificial and more of a plasticky sweetness with no waffle cone.
Matcha Soft Serve Just a mildly sweet matcha. Lovely, just no ice cream.
Matcha Ice Cream Same as the above, and heavy on the citrus.
Match Made in Heaven Extrait de Parfum This one actually has a bit of waffle cone, but it's overpowered by the almond to my nose. And it fades very quickly to settle into a generically sweet vanilla smell.
Miami Shake This one is just musky and sweet to my nose.
Blackburn's Parlor Perfume The banana is really prominent and lovely! Super gourmand and sweet, however, I detect more caramel than waffle cone...
Iced Wisteria Perfume Oil Very floral, slightly sweet. But not much else.
Lick Me To me, mostly a powdery vanilla.
No disrespect if you enjoy any of these perfumes! I enjoy many of them too, they're just not what I'm looking for, please let me know if you have any recommendations & thank you in advance!!!
