How a little gold bar that recieves so much hate managed to surprise me.
At the start of the year, i finally bought the OG 1 Million after going in reverse order of buying 1 Million Lucky and Elixir first. Compared to those, i really didn't think that much of it on its own until a few weeks later when i bought the Parfum and tried layering it together with the OG and ended up really enjoying that combination more so than i did each on their...

Break No.3
This is more a personal thing i do every so often that i have wrote a blog about in the past where i would update the blog daily with the changes i would notice while taking a break from fragrances. It would be things such as my sense of smell of natural things around me would intensify, taste of my food would increase and other things. I like to take a break every so often when i start to notice that some of my favourite fragrances...

The myterious world of OUD to a newb.
I know i am not going to be the first person to write a blog or even to some this may not even be blog worthy, and is more so a forum level discussion because they probably have seen it discussed so many times. This is my blog though, we are not all at the same stages as one another in our collecting and i feel that i have reached a new level of fragrance appreciation that had a word that used to create...

Aaron Terence Hughes - Great Niche Perfumer & Sample of His Autumn Release Coming Soon
So, as you all have seen my blog has been empty for a while since i last wrote about the break i took. I simply didn't have anything of interest to talk about until now, because i really want to tell as many people about Aaron as i possibly can. The reason being, i have not felt this excited in a while about a fragrance house.
I was recently discussing...

The Advantages of Taking a Break From Fragrances. Will you? or can you keep up with me on a journey?
Hi,
If you are reading this you probably have either thought about taking a break but never went through with it, tried taking a break but didn't last or like myself you have actually managed to take a full break and are interested in seeing if i had the same experience as you did.
When i took my first break after about 9 months of wearing...

The fear of fakes. Temptation, will power and regret.
So, in the world of fragrance we often find highly sought after fragrances out of stock in certain countries. I am in the UK and here we have fragrances that are spoken about all over YouTube being incredibly cheap but in our circumstances because they are so hard to find they can become very expensive when in stock and often sell out in days, sometimes even hours.
An example of this...

How do you rate longevity and when does a fragrance lose its identity?
I decided today that i would be making a change in how i rate longevity. I wrote a blog about how i see weak fragrances recently and it seems to have made a change in how some people see weak projecting and short lasting fragrances and even inspired someone to rethink things and write a blog about it. Thanks for the mention :) They are to the right of me on the homepage...

Fed up of weak fragrances
First off I am no professional and only have a modest collection but still a collection that people say is one of too many. I too don’t think I need as much as I have but I have this urge to try find my next fragrance that will be one of a new experience to me. For example when I tried my first of the fragrances that we call “Blues” and in my case was Dylan Blue from Versace my day was made,...

“Parfum”, nothing else. An interview with Anselm Skogstad of DER DUFT
in France but anyone who succeeds in composing a fragrance that smells good and fascinates at least a few people. After all, one can be an artist or work artistically without having studied at an art academy. „Anyone can have his own view of this. That is OK“, he adds. Creating perfumes is not witchcraft, but something anyone can learn. Anyone can create...

Named It Twice" (and Donna Karan honoured it fifteen times that).Givenchy's Very Irresistible could not resist multilocation, thus it multiplied itself 20+ times. It seems that we didn't need quantum mechanics after all, since Givenchy, or LVMH if you like, proved this miraculous theory (or is it witchcraft?) in the years between joining elementary school and graduating junior high. Some...
