The "better" Oud Bouquet?
Do I dare? Yes!
Toleen is for me the better Oud Bouquet and generally one of the best rose fragrances I have ever smelled.
For this price segment, nothing better can be found. While Shagaf Oud, Intense Cafe, etc. almost suffocate everything around them with their synthetics, Toleen feels its way slowly but confidently and enchants from beginning to end with an elegant creaminess and seductive rose-amber-musk combination. Toleen is never too much, but never too little either!
The DNA is not unknown to perfume-savvy people, but the way Toleen reflects it is so new and refreshing in the most elegant way that I have no regrets about ordering this fragrance blind.
The price-performance ratio makes me underline my statement about the "better" Oud Bouquet and that doesn't come from anywhere, as I actually always prefer originals. Here I am making an exception.
Personally, I find the flacons by Niche Emarati (Lattafa) very successful, but I think you have to like this aesthetic.
