Invictus is that you!

I've read a lot about this smells like Y, but the smell that got to me first as I sprayed it on was Invictus! Now, to be fair, I haven't tried Y yet, so I may be a little short in describing this. That being said, the first thing you smell is invictus without doubt.
A very decent performance given the price (18$), and the smell is pretty good. The bottle looks cool, too.

Gorgeous budget scent

To me is 60% closer to YSL Y EDT and 40% to EDP. Fresh, shower-gel, bright, a bit synthetic. Decent sillage and very good projection. Lasts over 8 hours on clothes on me. Bottle and cap are high quality, but tacky and too bulky. I have tested it side by side with YSL Y EDT on tester strip and this one i like a bit more, is a bit sweeter. YSL Y EDT is too expencive for me, so this one is great substitute. Unfortunately is already out of stock and can`t buy a backup.

Good scent but not a great alternative to YSL Y....

YSL Y EDP is far and away my favorite cologne. I treat it like a special occassion scent despite the fact that it can be work everyday in any season for every occassion, I love it its my gold standard for cologne and was the first cologne ever gifted to me. I bought this as an alternative to YSL Y hoping I could use it more sparingly for the gym and the office and on short notice when I want to smell good but not for an occassion that would warrant me to use the real thing.

I read online and heard through various social media platforms that this was the go to alternative and one of the closest imitations you could purchase for YSL Y. On first spray I wasn't able to smell the depth of the scent and i admittedly smelled mostly alcohol. I waited a few weeks after my first spray and the scent admittedly improved a lot. The scent became more floral and in my opinion more feminine and sharply sweet. The notes that stick out to me the most are the Marine and Bergamont scents and the longevity is great especially for the price. Although I am disappointed, I can say the cologne is by no means bad in quality, it's just not for me.

For reference my top go to scents asides from YSL Y are CDN Iconic, Afnan Supremacy, Lattafa Al Nashama, Hawas Ice, and Azarro Most Wanted EDP Intense.

Nice smell that does not last

its like that choice of 2 between 3 options. this one smells nice and is cheap (practically a steal) but unfortunately does not last, my expirience in the sweltering heat the scent lasted 2~3 hours before dissipating completely, but i suppose for the price you can just overspray and re-apply it throughout the day carrying it in your bag without worry lol

now, the smell. nope this is not a YSL clone at all it is its own thing and it does it job decently. The opening did not gave me any marine notes but the bergamot was quite strong a quite bitter one too (good) from the opening i already can smell the amber already introducing itself and a hint of moss, as time goes by the bergamot loses its zing and the smell turns into a very masculine amber,moss, violet smell until it eventually vanishes an hour or two later. quite nice and a safe blind buy

A solid blind buy, from Lattafa

If you look at the similarities of this perfume, you can see that it is related to YSL Y (EDP), which is partially right, i would even say, that Lattafa Fakhar, as far as i could test it, is even better than the original, it has pretty much the same accords, but with a little more round feeling to it. The YSL feels a little bit pungent especially at the start, which cannot be said for the Lattafa dupe. The scent feels fresh, aquatic and has a somewhat fruity note to it, given the note of bergamot. But there are not only positiv things to say about our dupe, there is a slight undertone of a note which slightly annoys me and makes the perfume as a whole look worse than it could be. I cannot really say what it is, which annoys me exactly, but it makes the fragrance feel a little synthetic in a slightly sweet and fruity way, most likely because of some use of cheap fragrance-oil
All in all a pretty solid summer fragrance, especially for this price, it is pretty longlasting and has an interesting scent, but I feel like it could be a bit much for some, because of this particular one annoying note i spoke about earlier. If you have 30€ to spare and you want a reliable summer perfume, Lattafa Fakhar might be the right choice for you.
