Beautiful opening, disappointing mid
Disclaimer - my test was on paper.

I want to like this because the opening is beautiful. It's a bright, zingy citrus spice. But there is something that comes up in 15-20 minutes after spraying that smells (literally) fishy to me. Does Omanluxury use real ambergris? I can't figure out what it is, but it shows up and doesn't go away for me. I hate it because I love everything else about this one.

Lots Going On
There is a lot going on with this fragrance. Starts off nice and citrusy, but quickly changes and dances around becoming more woody and musky. Silage smells A LOT different than the skin scent, which is a good thing. Not awful, but not my thing. I highly recommend sampling before purchasing a full bottle.

Sprite in Hand, Feet in Sand, a Day at the Beach
Today, I dedicate my review to Overdose by Omanluxury, an unknown, under-the-radar, and perfectly balanced summer freshie.
This perfume has one of the most dreamily beautiful openings I have ever experienced.

Overdose starts with an incredibly authentic and invigorating lemon soda - truly like a freshly opened, ice-cold, and sparkling Sprite.
The juicy lemon, combined with a fruity orange, is in perfect harmony with a slightly tart grapefruit, instantly catapulting me with a cold drink to the Bahamas.

The subtly embedded sage, in conjunction with peppery-spicy cardamom, feels revitalizing, like an overdose of joy for life.
That is exactly what this fragrance radiates for me: pure harmony, energy, and inner peace.
Comparable to a day at the spa - carefree, in harmony with oneself - and worries are on vacation.

The magical top note is perfectly showcased by a soft, creamy sandalwood, a subtly creamy fig, and a bright, clean orange blossom.
The subtly incorporated slightly earthy saffron resonates unobtrusively and gives this DNA its unique twist.
The base is characterized by powdery-clean musk, fresh-peppery spice, and a woody-soft sandalwood attitude.

After the incredibly successful Sprite kickoff, minimal parallels to L'Homme Idéal Cologne come to mind due to the citrus-creamy woodiness.
Nevertheless, the Overdose is far more high-quality, exciting, and significantly more harmonious in its overall structure.

A perfect summer companion with a certain uniqueness, packing a solid punch for a citrus freshie.
The longevity on my skin is a good 8-10 hours (depending on temperature), of which it is consistently noticeable for the first 3-4 hours.

A fragrance that, fortunately, flies under the radar and is likely unknown to most.

For me, this composition radiates pure harmony, elegance, and the feeling of freedom of summer in the distant south.

It conveys a sense of lightness and inner calm, comparable to a day at the beach, feet in the sand, and a Sprite in hand.

Seductively diverse...
This scent is finally something I've never smelled before. Definitely unique!

The combination of unobtrusive sweetness and mysterious spiciness is masterful to me. Added to that is a certain calmness and coolness that pulls the strings in the background and keeps raising your eyebrows.

Of course, we are dealing with an oriental fragrance here, but its diversity is to be admired, and it will also smell slightly different on every skin in the drydown. What it always is, however, is a special scent.

Works for men and (special) women, in the summer evenings and in autumn/winter pretty much all the time.

Must buy for me!

A solid and beautiful summer fragrance
Overdose has always intrigued me, and I’ve been able to test it here and there over the past few days.
It is definitely a beautiful scent. I find it really lovely, especially in the initial phase.
Unfortunately, after that, it doesn’t manage to captivate me as strongly, but it is still, of course, a beautiful fragrance.

Overdose starts wonderfully citrusy, fruity, juicy, delicious.
The various citrus notes create a fantastic overall picture and mentally transport you straight to summer. They feel so pleasantly fruity, juicy, and somehow refreshing.

As time goes on, this brilliantly citrusy aspect diminishes a bit.
These rather zesty impressions fade somewhat, but the base of citrus fruits remains.
Now, a noticeable but gentle pepper accord comes into play.
Additionally, the fragrance gains floral facets, which never become too intense.

Towards the end, it becomes noticeably woodier.
The pepper note, by the way, stays with me until the end.
The citrus aspect is now almost completely gone, but hints can still be recognized.

Longevity and sillage are fine. In terms of Omanluxury standards, I would say that Overdose is a bit more subdued. However, one must not forget that we are dealing with a summer fragrance here.
On my skin, the scent lasts about seven hours, and the sillage is somewhat moderate.
At first, it radiates really well, but as soon as this peppery accord sneaks in, the fragrance also becomes a bit closer to the skin. At least, that’s my personal feeling.

Is the fragrance unisex?
I say quite clearly, yes!

All in all, it is a truly beautiful summer fragrance that you can happily hold under your nose. I think many will enjoy it, just like the Wanderlust from the same house.

Ambergis-heavy, salty, love/ hate scent. Wouldn't call it a summer fragrance, although it might be suitable for cooler summer evenings.

Fresh and crisp start carries through to the end, complemented by warm spicy notes (pepper and cardamom) and finishes elegantly woody - genius!

Zesty-spicy start with a hearty dose of cardamom on a wooden base is supported by floral notes after 1 hour, remaining very unsweet.
