Today, I dedicate my review to
Overdose by Omanluxury, an unknown, under-the-radar, and perfectly balanced summer freshie.
This perfume has one of the most dreamily beautiful openings I have ever experienced.
Overdose starts with an incredibly authentic and invigorating lemon soda - truly like a freshly opened, ice-cold, and sparkling Sprite.
The juicy lemon, combined with a fruity orange, is in perfect harmony with a slightly tart grapefruit, instantly catapulting me with a cold drink to the Bahamas.
The subtly embedded sage, in conjunction with peppery-spicy cardamom, feels revitalizing, like an overdose of joy for life.
That is exactly what this fragrance radiates for me: pure harmony, energy, and inner peace.
Comparable to a day at the spa - carefree, in harmony with oneself - and worries are on vacation.
The magical top note is perfectly showcased by a soft, creamy sandalwood, a subtly creamy fig, and a bright, clean orange blossom.
The subtly incorporated slightly earthy saffron resonates unobtrusively and gives this DNA its unique twist.
The base is characterized by powdery-clean musk, fresh-peppery spice, and a woody-soft sandalwood attitude.
After the incredibly successful Sprite kickoff, minimal parallels to
L'Homme Idéal Cologne come to mind due to the citrus-creamy woodiness.
Nevertheless, the Overdose is far more high-quality, exciting, and significantly more harmonious in its overall structure.
A perfect summer companion with a certain uniqueness, packing a solid punch for a citrus freshie.
The longevity on my skin is a good 8-10 hours (depending on temperature), of which it is consistently noticeable for the first 3-4 hours.
A fragrance that, fortunately, flies under the radar and is likely unknown to most.
For me, this composition radiates pure harmony, elegance, and the feeling of freedom of summer in the distant south.
It conveys a sense of lightness and inner calm, comparable to a day at the beach, feet in the sand, and a Sprite in hand.
