Multifaceted rose
The opening... wow!!!
A deep dark red rose, streaked with fine threads of minimally sweet pulp (a plum, which I usually find sweet and sticky, but my bumbling nose can't really make it out here) is slowly covered in resinous drops.
Even I, who usually has a neutral to neutral-negative attitude towards roses (too flowery, too old-fashioned, too xy...), find such a rose fascinating!
Sudden change of scene: the dark red, resinous and deep rose suddenly turns pink! And it stays that way for the next few hours: a pink rose... you somehow "sense" that there is more, but it doesn't want to show itself (yet)...
Then... after about 5-6 hours, this soft, earthy, warm base finally appears - I could melt away! Sooo beautiful...
My (personal) problem is that I find the opening and ending wonderful, but the rose in between is too ... rose for me. Rose is.
A fragrance that I would IMMEDIATELY recommend to every rose lover...
... even if it couldn't reach mine.
In terms of longevity, I can say that the beautiful base is still perceptible after more than 12 hours!
