Iris to die for
Perfumery is a strange passion: sometimes we call it art, sometimes it's just a nerdy obsession. Sometimes it’s all about marketing, other times it’s pure emotion.
But if you’re reading these lines, you probably agree on one thing: it’s something truly beautiful.
And this perfume, to me, is simply beautiful.
I read many discussions about this masterpiece, both before and after buying it.
Some talk about an impossible concentration of orris irones; others claim that such performance or richness must be synthetic. Meanwhile, close friends of the brand’s creator have sworn it’s 100% natural.
The truth is… I honestly don’t care.
I deeply love orris butter in perfumery — and nothing comes close to what this scent offers.
Maybe the oud and lotus just add to the mystery and sensuality, but what you truly get is a stunning iris note: buttery, deep, and captivating.
To be honest, after 3 or 4 hours the projection seems to fade… but then, suddenly, you smell it again — and the next morning, it happens once more.
We call it passion, when it's so expansive it's like a stupid addiction maybe, or at least a crazy vice.
But when you smell such a masterpiece, you think it deserves the price
