Dahn Oud Ateeque Abdul Samad Al Qurashi

I was a bit disappointed that this scent didn't smell nearly as lovely as the sample the vendor let me try in a boutique in Kuwait. But... it's still very delightful. But it had to grow on me. It wasn't an immediate 'wow' - it's a very smooth oud woody scent mellowed out by subtle fruit like melon and kumquat.

A unisex fragrance with brilliantly blended ingredients, so that in my opinion it is in no way controversial. Here we have exotic florals mixed with fruits and combined with perennial and premium oud. These are the 3 mainly perceptible notes. We also have a perceptible balsamic sweetness- I don't know if it's more ambery or slightly vanilla, either way I think it is or these ingredients are here.
A fragrance with fairly good longevity and projection.

I get pipe tobacco and melon. Very wearable and attractive, it's not bandaid oud or barnyard oud - this is very sweet and mild Cambodian oud. Love at first sniff, bottle in my future.
