A hint of delicious fruits
This perfume is the sweetness locked into a very original bottle. It smells like fruis with a resinous and Woody background and accompanied with a hint of flowers. The fragance is very nice but It is something that i have smelt lot if times un lot if places. Nothing original, exotic or new for being an oriental fragance. Unisex scent with a very affordable price and good performance. For fruity perfume lovers!

Flowers & Fruit a-plenty! This one slings a lot of aromas at you!
My Goodness! This perfume opens a big chest of floral and fruity scents for your entertainment and enjoyment... then the musk comes through, the sandalwood, the patchouli and the vanilla. The perfumer had a field day this time round. I reckon only agarwood is missing! Happily for me, the cinnamon content is minimal (more than a tiny dab of cinnamon does not sit happily with me, makes me hot & bothered, not in a nice way!).

The bottle is fabulous, enticingly exotic, a real beauty. The big ruby cap screws off and has a built-in glass rod applicator. You don't have to put much on; this is a concentrated fragrance, an Eastern beauty that lasts and lasts, entices and entices.

Terrific fun, wonderful quality. You need to experience this one for yourself. It's currently listing on eBay for around US$12 for the 12ml bottle. A bargain price for a magical adventure from Al Haramain.

…so greasy…
Aaaaah,… you’re going to call me picky right away, but I have to tell you (once again) something about myself. It’s something I absolutely cannot stand and it drives me almost crazy. No, I’m not talking about you perfumes :D
I can actually stand you quite well, I even like you, honestly, but you still drive me crazy! :D Occasionally, at least… he he he.

No, what I mean is having oily or greasy things on my hands. When eating, for example, it shouldn’t be that bad, since you use a napkin on the side (or at least you should!! :D). But that’s exactly where the problem starts: I know enough people who, especially while eating, don’t even know the meaning of a napkin and have to touch everything with their sticky and greasy fingers after they’ve just held a greasy chicken leg with their whole hand. Because everything that is touched like that (without wiping their hands) gets a greasy shiny film of oil and to put it simply: It’s just disgusting, man!!!
I mean, I like to eat with my hands too, but that doesn’t mean I have to touch EVERYTHING without wiping my hands first!!

And when you often have to eat with such people (which is unfortunately not always avoidable among relatives… :D), and they then hand you, for example, the cola bottle, the wine, the salt shaker, or even the bread (aaaaaargh!!!!),… you just want to drag these people off the table and kick them out of the apartment, or run away yourself if you’re the guest! :D

Aaaah, it could be that I developed a dislike for oily things on my hands precisely because of such people, because some people just disgusted me too much, yuck… tell me, am I too sensitive? I’ve tried to overlook these people, but it just doesn’t work,… not when the table companions literally eat like pigs :D

Thus, testing this oily fragrance was almost a horror for me, as the fragrance liquid was so greasy and oily, waaaah!

The scent:
At first, I smell “various” fruits like plums, oranges, etc… some are not identifiable, but you just know they are fruits. I would say that the plums stand out the most.
As is typical for an oriental fragrance, it also has a rather sweet note due to the jasmine, and you can especially smell roses. Rather sultry notes like ylang-ylang are hardly noticeable. This makes the fragrance feel fresher.
Only later does the ylang-ylang come into play, but it only makes the scent slightly heavier and more sultry. The fruity notes continue to stand out along with the jasmine and rose.
In the end, you still smell fruity, but now less intensely. The fragrance is still sweet, due to the musk and jasmine. In the background, I can still smell light, woody notes, and that’s it. Nice, but not incredibly spectacular.

The sillage and longevity:
Wow, I applied just a tiny dab and I smell the fragrance very intensely. If you spray it on or apply a larger amount, it will likely smell quite intense for a very long time and will surely be noticeable from a distance.
Thus, the longevity is also quite long. Not so much that you could smell it from morning until late at night, but it is detectable on the skin for at least ten or twelve hours.

The bottle:
The bottle looks great. It’s something completely different from conventional bottles. Here you have a gilded container with an oriental shape, but surprisingly with few oriental-looking patterns and ornaments. In the middle, you can see the inside of the bottle and thus the amount of fragrance. The cap also has the shape of a roof from oriental buildings. All in all, there are certainly more beautiful oriental bottles, but this one also looks great.

Argh, oily oily…
Some know that I come from Turkey. And one of the national sports of Turkey is oil wrestling. You really slather yourself with olive oil and wrestle with another fully greased wrestler. The bodies touch each other and you share the oil with the other wrestler *gag* I could never do that!!! Probably not even for money :DD

Aaaaah, be that as it may. Sultan von Al Haramain has turned out to be fruity sweet. It’s actually nothing special, but it’s not bad either. And that’s always the problem. You could use it, but for me, it’s not good enough to be purchased. Well, due to the oily consistency of the fragrance liquid, this scent wouldn’t even be an option for me personally as a decant.

But anyone looking for a fruity sweet oriental that can be worn in spring and autumn might want to check out this fragrance here. It starts off a bit feminine but later becomes unisex.

As I said, it’s okay, but just not for me.

Fruit Salad with Citrus Juice Vinaigrette
Since the fragrances from "Al Haramain" are affordable, I also ordered a small bottle of "Sultan" just in case, especially because of the playful bottle design. I thought it would always please the recipients. "Sultan" is also offered in a small quantity of 12 ml as an EdP. Since it is labeled as a fruit scent, "Sultan" is not really an option for me.
But because I didn't know this fragrance yet and wanted to see who I could gift it to, I fortunately opened the package carefully and... oh, a screw cap? And unfortunately, it turns out that it is not an EdP, but a fragrance oil. This oil can be dripped onto the wrist with a stick, from where you can then moisten a finger to dab it on other spots.
The fragrance oil "Sultan" smells just like it is indicated in the ingredients list.
At first, it only smells of relatively sour citrus fruits and at the same time bright and aquatic. "Sultan" also has a slightly spicy scent; I can perceive cloves and cinnamon, although not excessively. Then aromatic, not too sweet fruity scents come into play, floral notes that are slightly synthetic, as well as hints of patchouli, and there is also vanilla and softening musk present.
The citrus fruits maintain their sour freshness throughout the entire duration; "Sultan" smells to me like a citrus-plum fruit salad that has been flavored with rose and orange blossom water. Then the "Sultan salad" was drizzled with oil. This oil has been flavored with some bitter and woody ingredients. A sachet of vanilla sugar provides a moderate sweetness. "Sultan" is a slightly sweeter fruit scent, aromatic, and has quite a distinctive character. The longevity is very good for an oil. It is also not an overpowering fruit scent. I am bothered by a slight metallic-synthetic note.
With "Sultan," you won't be inappropriately perfumed for any occasion - if you like fruity scents. However, I can't quite imagine "Sultan" on a man.

It's a kind of pineapple mixed in strawberry and plum syrup! ~The rose gives a feminine touch, but I love to use it. It's delicious.

First fruit, flowers, later old toilet soap, what a pity. Someone compared it to Dolce Vita - that person definitely deserves some "criticism"!

This Sultan is definitely a Sultana, enveloped in delicate, fragrant veils from exotic lands, feminine, sensual, and dreamy.

Strawberries with wood, patchouli, and lots of vanilla. It gives a nearly tactile impression of softness and gentleness. Great value for money.

Surprisingly similar to "Noora" Al Haramain, just more subtle. Very restrained fruits (strawberry) create only a subtle note. Refreshingly good :-)

The oriental origin is clearly noticeable alongside the fruity aromas in this oil. Slightly woody, moderately sweet, well-lasting. Casmir? Probably not!

Actually strawberry-like. Sweet, fruity, oriental, similar to Chopard Casmir after development, just lighter.

Slightly synthetic, spicy, woody fruits, fragrance oil, quite decent for the price. Low longevity, little sillage. You have to like the bottle.
