Unboxing this fragrance is pure luxury
But why?

Let's start from the beginning:
Last year, I was looking for something different, a brand besides Xerjoff that appeals to me, especially with great fragrances and beautiful bottles.

During my search, I came across Dhai, a new fragrance from Anfas.
€350 for 75ml sounded luxurious, as did Dubai and the bottle.

So, I ordered this fragrance and what can I say?
It was worth it.
Unboxing this bottle was simply amazing, this plexiglass cover, the heavy blue, the high-quality bottle, this cap, just Wow.
The bottle fits perfectly in the hand, on par with Xerjoff.

Now let's talk about the scent and I can tell you, I love it.

Ice... like melting ice or better yet, melting ice candy on the tongue, a fresh sweetness surrounded by a coolness... simply Wow.
The fragrance develops with a prominent coolness/freshness in combination with an oriental sweetness, hard to describe but a very clear recommendation from me!

Now we come to the weakness of the fragrance, the longevity/sillage.
We're talking about a €350 fragrance at 75ml, so I find a longevity of 5-6 hours rather disappointing; it doesn't last a whole day.
The sillage is present for 1-1.5 hours, and while I was often complimented on this fragrance, it quickly becomes very close to the body.

Conclusion: I love it, for me it's a must-have, but I hope for a stronger variant, please try it!

Dhai - The Scent of Melting Ice
With Dhai, Asim Al Qassim finally releases the first fragrance of his new line. New bottle design, new packaging, new scent. So I went straight to my trusted perfumery at the release to test the new one. Sprayed it on, smelled it, wow.

About the scent:
At first, the fragrance starts with an unexpected mix of freshness, mint, and a certain association with chewing gum. But behind the opening, there is more than just that: The scent envelops my senses with a coldness that I have never experienced in a fragrance before. I feel as if I am surrounded by icy water. With this feeling, I was already looking forward to using this scent in the summer, away from the typical citrus bombers. But the fragrance did not stop there. Initially, a distinct pear note and a hint of orange blossom join in, bringing some friendliness to the gloomy cold. However, after a while, the fragrance undergoes a strong transformation: warming amber appears and gradually melts the ice, transforming the scent along with musk into a cozy, enveloping aroma. Now I no longer feel like I am surrounded by cold water, but rather by a dense, sweet mass. This is how the fragrance remains for the next few hours and does not change much. In my opinion, the performance is good; it lasts about 8 hours, and the sillage is not too strong, making it suitable for everyday use.

About the bottle:
The bottle comes in new packaging that reflects light in vibrant colors. At first, I was a bit disappointed that the packaging from Anfas had changed. However, I had to realize that this packaging harmonizes well with the color of the bottle and overall appears very high-quality. The bottle is, as usual, very solid and heavy, which I really like. The bottle is also hand-painted, according to Asim Al Qassim, which makes it special and sets it apart from other brands, although a layperson might not notice it. The cap fits securely and gives a high-quality impression. Now, however, to a major downside: the sprayer. The sprayer disappoints me quite a bit and does not round off the positive impression of the bottle. It only produces rather weak sprays, which means you have to spray many more times than usual. While this allows for good dosing, I am still a big fan of long, intense sprays, as they belong to a high-quality bottle in my opinion.

Conclusion:
With Dhai, Anfas releases a new, fresh fragrance from their house. The scent starts with a rather unique and special opening, which takes a strong turn in the drydown and practically turns 180 degrees. This, in my opinion, makes the fragrance so interesting. However, the drydown itself, which takes up most of the fragrance's duration, is quite unspectacular. Amber, musk, sweetness. A pleasant mix, but one that you already know from countless other fragrances that are also much cheaper. At this point, I would like to return to the price: it is around 350 euros, making it the most expensive in the house so far. What justifies the high price compared to the other fragrances from Anfas is, however, a mystery to me. The fragrance is definitely worth a test and should also be tested over several hours due to its strong progression. The scent scores points for quality and has left a lasting impression on me with its opening, which is why I decided to purchase it. However, those looking for a fragrance with a good price-performance ratio should, in my opinion, consider other fragrances due to the high price.

Ice Bonbons, but unfortunately only fleeting
The Dhai starts with a really cool note that reminds you 1:1 of the blue Ice Bonbons.
This icy freshness is something special and I find it extremely awesome.

Unfortunately, this special note fades relatively quickly for me, leaving a cool freshness without the ICE Bonbon scent.
It then transitions into a subtle amber-sandalwood blend.

The overall longevity is, in my opinion, acceptable.
The sillage is somewhat weaker.
Unfortunately, the longevity of the brilliant top note isn't great, but that's often the case with top notes.

The bottle, as is usually the case with Anfas, is just mega cool.
This design is insane.
Unfortunately, the scent is definitely too expensive for the performance it offers.
The awesome top note and the bottle don't help in this case.

Definitely worth a test though!
Just the top note should be worth trying.

Irritating...!?
This Dhai is a syrupy sweet fruit cocktail. Oriental - so a creation enriched with precious spices, warm undertones, and sensually seductive, gentle ingredients from distant places - this new Anfas is certainly not that, but it is definitely worth a try for fans of Kirke and Erba Pura.

I am actually very enthusiastic about Anfas fragrances, as their perfumes usually exhibit a certain depth and interesting complexity. So far, in my opinion, there has been no failure. And here with Dhai, only pleasantly few ingredients are listed, with orange blossom being one of my favorites. If you can discern these few components well, the orange blossom flatters the nose, making the perfume invigorating or exciting, perhaps even challenging? Maybe yes, maybe no - because if those caressing accords are present in Dhai, they get lost in the sugary sweet ice pop fruit notes... it should be mentioned: the longevity is good.

Regardless of how one may feel about Dhai, whether it seems good to one person, insignificant to another, or however else. It is simply too demanding in terms of price. And that is ultimately, in light of the scent impressions, irritating.

Review of Anfas Dhai
The Anfas Dhai immediately catches the eye due to its beautiful and stylish bottle. As soon as you apply the fragrance to your skin, you feel as if you have a pack of ice candies in front of you. However, the sweet scent of the ice candies fades after a few minutes, and you are left with a very sweet, fresh, and fruity fragrance. The longevity is comparatively strong for a summer scent, lasting 6-8 hours on me. I prefer to wear this fragrance at 20-25 degrees, as it feels too heavy for me in very hot temperatures.

Hubba Bubba-like sweetness
the orange blossoms of it,
slowly melting into sandalwood
floating in the sea,
the Orient far away
a cry for help...

As an ice candy, it first crackles cold,
then later turns into salami.
One is indeed more than fine,
does it really have to be this way?*

For playing in the meadow, Grandma gives you a candy.
As it melts, it gets creamier, woodier, and a bit cozier in the straw. I don't know.

Starts very synthetic, plastic with a rather prominent pear note in my opinion. In the dry down, much rounder and creamier. Nice but not for me.

Ice bonbon for 2 minutes, then it becomes fruity and sweet, and then very oriental - solid scent. H/S top

By no means the described ice candy. The scent takes time and develops into an absolutely unique fragrance on the skin.
