A touch of youth
Years ago Anna Sui was still "my" brand, especially because her husband liked her too.
In addition, the fragrances are always in pretty flacons, which is a nice gimmick.
The human being does not live from the smell alone - it may be also something for the eye - so the husband became poetic.
But somehow I felt outgrown by the playful scents, which of course is nonsense, because I am and remain a play child.
That's why I was so pleased when the good guy offered me the cute carton in which a lovely bottle lived.
And also the scent appeals to me, it starts with my favorite fruits - as if there were: Apricot, quince and sweet oranges.
Otherwise, I'm not a fruit fan, but these three can be.
The fruit note, however, remains transparent and has nothing syrupy.
The flowery heart note is also delicate and balanced.
Then the delicious vanilla rose macaroon appears, which is so appetizing that I had to google it.
Discreet patch rounds off the gentle fragrance, which is nevertheless durable.
Versailles is not a groundbreaking fragrance creation, but it conveys a touch of carefree youth - and you can always use that.
