This Aramis invites you to snuggle up
The new limited edition Aramis has it all and is far away from what one associates with the classic Aramis Eau de Toilette, which I also appreciate very much. The house already proved that Aramis can do more with 900, Tuscany per Uomo, Devin, among others.
The Special Blend starts off spicy fresh, but has an intense cinnamon aroma that quickly swings into the heart note of whiskey and cypriol. A combination that comes across very harmonious. This combination is also responsible for the fact that this Aramis probably has oriental echoes. Cypriol, which is otherwise also resinous or even medically occurring to me, is soaked well in a soft, well-tempered whiskey. That pleases and the nose goes again and again to the wrist, although it is not only close to the body to feel.
The base is warm and soft, which is probably due to the combination of cashmere, amber and tonka. There's a certain sweetness to it, too. At least a feeling of well-being comes up, no corners and edges, no eccentricity. I can't clearly smell a woody note.
The Special Blend has character. I see it rather on men over 35. Could imagine that it animates to snuggle up, so I use it also rather on colder days.
The bottle has a classic design and thus fits in with the entire Aramis line. The packaging is held in iridescent reddish-brown tones like reddish root wood. I couldn't have imagined a more suitable color choice for this fragrance.
