A fruity-floral that gets it right!
What in the name of all things perfumery is this magic? I am stunned by how beautiful this fragrance is. Ok, even with my usual dramatics aside, this is a BEAUTIFUL scent. Yes, all caps.
I get a hit of the most gorgeous florals and berries in the opening and the thing to note is, it's not your usual white florals but a blend of (I assume) hyacinth and peony playing along with the berries backed by a light hint of citrus. The evolution is gentle, I get rose petals and pink pepper soon after and then it stays on skin that way for hours before the warmth from the base notes start appearing. The iris is only a whisper here along with the patchouli but I do get a lovely mix of sandalwood, amber and vetiver on the dry down.
The notes are exceptionally blended and this is a floral like no other, to me anyway. I am going to say this is definitely feminine-leaning.
Good longevity of ~8 hours on skin
In short: A most delightful blend of unusual florals and berries backed by a gorgeous blend of notes that all get along so well that you see no sharp edges or disagreements.
