Today Avon 2004 Eau de Parfum

ohh, what an soft tuberosa scent this is. So well balanced notes, tender, still deep, definitely sopihisticated and joyfull. When sniffing Today by Avon my heart sings stronly Love song. Just like some divine ancient receip have arrived to its doors. Thumbs up for Today *gigles*

The ultimate pick me up!

Instantly puts me in the best mood upon spraying. It is the definition of summer, sunshine, butterflies and picnics.... I love this gem.

No matter the price, or the fact that it's Avon... It's tha BOMB!

It's so stinking cute... So effervescent. Lasting power is moderate, but the opening and dry down are so pretty.

I plan on keeping her around for the long haul.

Next to Mesmerize Black, Today is a long-lasting favorite of mine from Avon. When I want something fresh and cheerful, I confidently reach for Today. It is an extremely elegant mood booster that brings a lot of fresh air to tired cells. Spring is not far away for us here. The birds are already chirping happily and the sky shows no clouds at all. The branches are still bare, but life is already reaching out to them.

When the snow begins to melt, it is definitely time for this fragrance. I like to apply it after a long shower. Of course, only when I want to elevate my mood to immeasurable heights and the sun is shining all day long. For the day, for a shopping trip, for a coffee, for a workday, for an outing, etc. -> You can use it for all these occasions and it lasts up to 7 hours. For the low price, that's a huge plus.

The beginning of Today starts as if you are shedding a thick winter coat. At first, it’s not so fresh at all. Rather a bit hissing with a peppery note and a hint of flowers. Slightly oppressive. But then, after not even a short time, the fragrance becomes fresher, bringing life into it. Neroli is very pleasant to perceive and there also seems to be a light touch of something rose-like here. It is floral, but not overwhelming. The flowers seem to take their time to develop. After all, there’s no rush. They remain youthful and open the gates to spring. After about an hour, a very benevolent, sweet tone of tonka bean starts to resonate. From then on, it appears quite noble. Just right. Down-to-earth and carefree. Perfect for sharing! A wonderful wood note develops quickly but generously, rounding everything off. Sandalwood has been used very beautifully here and really makes an impression. You simply feel comfortably enveloped by Today! Not cheap, not artificial, just fresh and youthful elegance!

The bottle is nicely crafted and actually quite chic. It distributes well with the spray nozzle. Oliver Cresp has really dressed up for this one -> Here he lets the purple mood bear hang out quite prominently. Available at a top price! You get a lot for little money here. I could bet with some that if someone didn’t know this was from Avon, they would think it belongs to a higher-priced category.

It has fully earned its 70%. However, it is still not that complex and unique, which is something you wouldn’t expect from Avon at all. Still, dare to approach it.

In Russia, the Avon brand is widely popular. In particular, this fragrance has been very beloved by Russian women since its launch. Many opinions are written about the scent, and almost all say - it's a heavy evening fragrance, overdosing is deadly, and almost every woman would smell like Today.

I read so much about the fragrance that I simply couldn't resist ordering it at the small price available in Germany, which I did blindly.
The risk of every woman smelling like Today couldn't possibly occur in Germany anyway, after all, I am the one writing the first comment here about the scent.

And now I am very positively surprised by Today - for me, this is a fragrance that gives me good mood and lightness and makes me feel optimistic. I don't find it heavy, but rather very strongly concentrated; the fragrance notes are pressed closely together, so there is no pause in the scent development, making the fragrance very present. The freesia dominates, remaining unchanged, and thus the fragrance is very sunny, radiant, and summery. The sillage is miles long!

Juicy and sparkling, the fragrance optimistically steers me into the future, and everything will be fine; if not Today, then definitely tomorrow!

P.S. Tip: the heavy bottle can be used for self-defense. I don't understand why such a massive glass was chosen.
