The verdict

It opens with aromatic and earthy woody Oud, minty, a delicious smell of earth and rain sweetened by the Oud accord, there is a delicious pepper. It continues with Oud as the protagonist and is a bit syrupy due to the alcoholic and amber content, reminiscent of the color of whiskey as a sensation.

Then it becomes woody, sweeter, more amber and dense, but closer to the skin with tones of burnt sugar and incense, very light leather and dark smoke and something that reminds me of cypriol, which is what gives the minty sensation.

Avon is charging a value well below the market for products of this quality for the quantity of 50ml. I like the product. I fell in love with the first spray, and it's the first sprays that make me travel. I am surprised at the quality of this Avon men's fragrance.

It is not the king of masculine sophistication in the perfume portfolio in the world, but it is certainly one of the best I have ever tasted from brands considered cheaper. It becomes the best because it comes from Avon, which offers products at this price.

Just like you said it would be

Today I took the liberty to maybe amaze you with my choice. I had already read several very positive opinions about this perfume but did not pretend to make a blind purchase. While I was browsing through some WEB shops last week, I noticed again this perfume and its price of 11 Euros for a 50ml bottle. I bought it blindfolded without blinking.
Apparently, the twenty-plus comments I had already read about Absolute by Elite Gentleman were true. If this nectar was in a Mr Ford bottle, and if it was called "F.... Woody", it would be sold like popcorn on a Saturday sunny afternoon, and for 10 to 15 times the price.
In a nutshell, this is a synthetic, non-medicinal Oud fragrance. It has a dominant amber background, along with hints of cedar, orris, burnt sugar, pipe tobacco and ambergris. This is a real bargain that is hard to believe. By no means think this is an oud offering just for the 'poor and needy'. Because it has none of the aggressive nuances one might associate with agarwood, and because of its forgiving price, it is perhaps an obvious choice for 'oud beginners'. However, any oud expert will also appreciate this fragrance.
Can it compare with any reputable oud fragrances? Of course, it can, and I can even point to several examples. I risk a sufferable resemblance to Chopard's Oud Malaki. I can also 'park' it next to Oud Wood Eau de Parfum and Versace pour Homme Oud Noir, but only if you add to the latter, a slight nuance of pipe tobacco and burnt sugar.
The performance is very acceptable, and the people around me seem very comfortable with the not at all intrusive aroma spread around me. It generates curiosity by its oriental hue and the pleasant smell of the woody notes.
The simplicity of the notes listed does not let you guess the level of quality it reveals. At the opening, I almost don't notice the Italian lemon note that is trumpeted and you can immediately feel a very well-behaved synthetic oud that marks the overall tone of the fragrance. In my opinion, the Ambermax® note listed for the base is the real secret of this perfume. The ingredient is produced by Givaudan, and it stands for very high levels of efficiency and power to deliver a rich note of dry amber. As a plus, it develops woody cedarwood and iris/orris earthy facets.

My opinion: Absolute by Elite Gentleman is a unisex perfume and a clear example of "high value for money". For its quality, it becomes a curious and desirable perfume for those who like oriental perfumes, and a must for lovers of oud and amber in particular. Don't try to buy a decant to test this perfume. It is much cheaper to buy a whole new bottle.

Niche quality for cheap

The scent is something between CH Mystery Tobacco/Mancera Red Tobacco and some oud fragrance. Excellent performance, projects strong 2-3 hours on me and lasts more then 2 days. I've bought it for 8 EUR 50ml bottle + shower gel(which is not something special). Usually i am a hard sprayer, but with this one i need only 2 shots on the neck and 3-4 shots on clothes for great performance.
The bottle ia stylish, atomiser and cap are satisfied.
Season - cold fall and winter.
Age - definitely over 30.

Gentleman of the fine kind...

...and a fragrance, which really has it in itself. I go when smelling the fragrance an image no longer out of my head.

We are in the Arab Emirates. A true gentleman, which plans with his wife a vacation of several weeks in one of the chicest hotels. Before it goes to the beach, still a splash from his perfume bottle, which he had bought in their last Sicily vacation. After a great day at the beach, the salt water mixes with the remains of his perfume, already almost evaporated by the wind and the force of the sun. Also holds the said citrus perfume of the shower after an eventful day still.

For dinner, the fine gentleman decides a suit with golden ornaments and a perfume that truly reflects the sensuality of Dubai. With the Oud the culture of Sicily mixes with that, the Arab emirates.

The evening takes its course and during the meal, the lemon fades more and more.
To the two gives after the meal still a beautiful spectacle with many cloths, which are led by belly dancers through the air. Small gusts of wind also arrive at the gentleman and create despite the supposedly heavy fragrance, a certain lightness.

After a romantic evening, both go to their noble hotel room and let the evening still end beautifully. While the dream begins for both, the Oud accompanies them gently through the night and creates the next morning a great memory of the past 1001st night.

A truly enchanting fragrance, which invites new cultures home...
