Absolute by Elite Gentleman Avon 2020

It opens with aromatic and earthy woody Oud, minty, a delicious smell of earth and rain sweetened by the Oud accord, there is a delicious pepper. It continues with Oud as the protagonist and is a bit syrupy due to the alcoholic and amber content, reminiscent of the color of whiskey as a sensation.

Then it becomes woody, sweeter, more amber and dense, but closer to the skin with tones of burnt sugar and incense, very light leather and dark smoke and something that reminds me of cypriol, which is what gives the minty sensation.

Avon is charging a value well below the market for products of this quality for the quantity of 50ml. I like the product. I fell in love with the first spray, and it's the first sprays that make me travel. I am surprised at the quality of this Avon men's fragrance.

It is not the king of masculine sophistication in the perfume portfolio in the world, but it is certainly one of the best I have ever tasted from brands considered cheaper. It becomes the best because it comes from Avon, which offers products at this price.

The scent is something between CH Mystery Tobacco/Mancera Red Tobacco and some oud fragrance. Excellent performance, projects strong 2-3 hours on me and lasts more then 2 days. I've bought it for 8 EUR 50ml bottle + shower gel(which is not something special). Usually i am a hard sprayer, but with this one i need only 2 shots on the neck and 3-4 shots on clothes for great performance.
The bottle ia stylish, atomiser and cap are satisfied.
Season - cold fall and winter.
Age - definitely over 30.

Avon did his best. For the price, it's a very solid scent. Strong, amber and bitter-woody, a hint of synthetic oud surrounded by amber and delicate cutrus. It smells more expensive than the price indicates. Seeing that it was Avon, I expected poor parameters and was surprised when it turned out that the parameters were really good. It lasts about 8 hours on the skin and is noticeable on clothes almost all day long.
Projection is initially very high, but after 2 hours it becomes moderate.
However, there is something that lowers my rating. The scent has a lot of Red Tobacco Mancera in it. I don't like this scent and I feel a similar, aggressive atmosphere in Absolute. You can feel it especially in the first hours when the scent emanates quite strongly. It is then a bit too sharp with a similar synthetic overtone.
When the projection calms down after about 2 hours, the sharpness disappears and the aroma turns into a very pleasant, warm, amber scent.

...and a fragrance that truly has depth. When I smell this scent, an image lingers in my mind.

This citrusy perfume also withstands the shower after an eventful day.

For dinner, the refined gentleman chooses a suit with golden embellishments and a fragrance that truly reflects the sensuality of Dubai. The Oud blends the culture of Sicily with that of the United Arab Emirates.

The evening unfolds, and during dinner, the lemon note gradually fades away.
After dinner, the couple enjoys a beautiful spectacle with many scarves being twirled through the air by belly dancers. Gentle breezes also reach the gentleman, creating a certain lightness despite the seemingly heavy fragrance note.

After a romantic evening, they return to their elegant hotel room and let the night wind down beautifully. As their dreams begin, the Oud gently accompanies them through the night, creating a wonderful memory of the past 1001 nights the next morning.

A truly enchanting fragrance that invites new cultures home...

I ordered this scent as part of a large souk order. After looking at the fragrance pyramid, I hoped for a relatively simple fresh-oriental scent that would gradually lean more towards Oud.

First spray on my hand: As the first fragrance molecules crossed my nose, the association hit me like a bullet: Cola with a splash of lemon juice. No feeling of the Middle East, but rather fizzy Cola.

After half an hour: The refreshing quality of the Cola is slowly fading. The citrus notes are losing power, and the scent is becoming "thicker." Sillage is still very present.

After about 2 hours: At this point, there is nothing left of the initial lemon. I no longer associate it with a fizzy, refreshing lemonade; instead, I envision Cola syrup, like you would see from a SodaStream, in my mind's eye. The scent is warmer and spicier than before, but in my opinion, it doesn't gain much depth.
The sillage decreases in strength with each passing minute until the scent is only barely detectable on the skin after about three hours.

Conclusion: I was hoping for something completely different. However, I must admit that I am relatively new to this "perfume game" and still need to develop a trained nose. There's nothing to complain about regarding the price.
