Chrome - Flower Edition?!
One of the current flankers from the Chrome line and the hope that this one would also be a hit. I had a certain image in my mind. Chrome DNA, mixed with lavender, a bit less artificial, a bit softer but still fresh and good.
Unfortunately, the result only partially came to fruition. It is too floral for me, too much lavender, soft and with a fig note that I don't particularly like. You can hardly notice the Chrome family DNA, and overall it is less citrusy fresh and more floral sweet in the drydown. Here it loses much of its aquatic power and becomes diffusely floral and gentle.
Longevity and sillage are also weaker than in some of the others in the series.
Of course, it's not a "bad" fragrance, but it's not the direction in which I like the line, as there are other aspects that "Chrome" should represent. I always associate this DNA with hardness, coolness, metallic, directness. This is exactly the opposite.
