Winter Delight

This peculiar fragrance stands out because of its fanaticism for boldness, standing out for its herbal and floral notes, creating a fragrance perfect for someone trying to show off during winter. It's unapologetic, and it takes pride in that. The only reason for which I am not giving it a nine or ten is because I see some missed potential in it. Maybe some white musk paired with sandalwood or vetiver would've definitely brought its boldness to new heights. However, don't forget to test it yourself; it might strike you as perfect, or maybe you can feel what I meant with its potential.

crisp, green, gorgeous

fresh, crisp, and refreshing. green spice, citrus, and lavender: smells like a classic men's fragrance with a kiss of lavender on the top. sophisticated and clean, nothing groundbreaking. smells like a well kept man in a grey suit who never quite grew out of the scent profile of his high school body sprays.

Tastes are different...

...I thought to myself when I saw the reviews here.

But from the beginning.

I was walking through the city with my wife a few weeks ago.

In the window of a small perfume store, there was a banner advertising The Most Wanted Eau de Toilette Intense on a small pedestal in front of it.
I went straight in, my wife rolled her eyes, but trotted in after me.

I walked purposefully up to the saleswoman and kindly asked for a sample of Azzaro.

I had the word "Intense"
expected a more woody, masculine note.

I was surprised by something "fresh-sweet"...(bubble gum as some write, I can understand).

I can't explain why, but I just like it.

My wife was also taken with it.

When I looked at Parfumo to see how the fragrance was rated, I couldn't believe my eyes.
I can't understand the ratings for this fragrance at all.

It is not the complex fragrance that changes its shape in many facets - that is true.

But it deepens and has a pleasant linear progression.

What can it do?

It can please!
In my experience, he is perceived positively by those around him.
There are compliments, nobody feels disturbed (if you dose humanely).

I definitely recognize The Most Wantef DNA.
For me, this fragrance is the better Myslf.

Which I also find completely underrated.

I can only recommend testing it.

Durability is good, for me about 7-8h. The last 2 of them rather close to the skin.

Sillage is not beast mode but the first 2-3 hours well perceptible in a radius of 1-2 meters around you.

I wear it lightly dosed (2-3 sprays) in the office.

At the weekend to go out or celebrate 4-5 sprays.

It has been well received everywhere so far.

So go to a perfumery and test it out.

I think it's really good!

First review here... I'm almost afraid to write one, as some of the reviews here on Parfumo are really poetic with the finest grammar - respect for that! It won't be poetic here, but at least I make an effort with the grammar ;-)

The fragrance currently has a rating of 6.6, which I don't think it deserves.

It starts very refreshingly and opens with a strong citrus note.
Due to the lavender, the fragrance has a certain sweetness, which is limited on my skin and is really pleasant. The fact that there is still something woody in the drydown - at least to my nose - makes the fragrance very interesting in my opinion.

I've been wearing the fragrance every day for a week now and have received a few compliments, especially at work. The longevity is outstanding for an EdT.

Of course, the fragrance doesn't necessarily reinvent the wheel, but it is well received everywhere and doesn't smell like any other "freshie", at least to me, but has its own DNA. Although I have to agree: There is a certain similarity to YSL MYSLF.

So what you get here is a "freshie" that also has a certain character of its own thanks to the woody/mossy and sweet notes, which simply goes down well everywhere.

Plump and sweet

I really wanted to try this fragrance because I have the Wanted by Night and I like it very much (because of its fruitiness, which is unique). The others in the Wanted range are similar. What's more, Jan (Eau de Fragrance) has been celebrating the fragrance on YouTube almost every day since it came out and says he can't understand the negative reactions (some of which are due to niche expectations and demands), which made me curious.

Immediately after spraying it on, however, I have to say (sorry Jan) that comments like "far too sweet" are absolutely right. The fragrance has no fruitiness at all like the others in the series, I can't perceive any complexity or depth either, just penetrating and far too strong sweetness. This may suit the tastes of some teenagers, but they can easily get this kind of fragrance and quality much cheaper. And if I'm a teenager and have little money, I buy a Ck One or the excellent Cool Water or the Jil Sunder Sun, you get something very decent for very little money!

My association with this fragrance is as follows: I'm standing in a crowded swimming pool on the concrete floor and it's terribly hot. I see an ice cream stall with these bright yellow and bright red boxes with the picksweet crushed ice juice inside, which is off-putting from the color alone. There's now a third variety, which is neon yellow/green, and someone has spilled some of it - that's exactly the smell that comes to mind when I smell this test strip.
